Maxi Dot and sounding alarm

Featured Replies

Hi,

I own a Roomster Confort version with Maxi Dot (Italian market).

Anyone knows if there is any sounding alarm for opened doors or not fastened security belt, as well as visual signalling ?

The seatbelt warning buzzer goes off above 20kmh, I have never driven around with the doors open, so dont know about that one, although I would imagine it is the same.

The seat belt warning buzzer also works for the front passenger seat - there is a sensor so it knows whether somebody is sitting in it :)

The "door open" warning buzzer beeps above 20 kmh.

Also the red "door open" light don't turn off when one of the doors is open.

Not sure if I want to know how you know this!:rofl::eek::orb_face_

Mostly my wife closes the passenger door too gently and slow. So, the door lock couldn't catch the latch properly and it beeps. :D

Ahh would've thought that you'd hauled something even bigger & longer than your Roomster permits... Also would think that 15KPH to be the trigger speed, as that's when VAG cars are programed to self/auto lock:confused:.

it also shows up on the display if the boot is not closed properly, not sure on the alarm though, i always stop before i get up enough speed (got to stop the dog falling out!)

If the boot is not closed properly it also beeps when you reach 15 or 20 kmh...

I had the auto lock (anti hijack) enabled by the dealer, that locks the doors over 20km/h.

The maxidot screen has a huge picture of a car and shows which door is open by changing the picture, inlcudes bonnet and boot but not the fuel cap.
