I actually had those wheels (or similar) in mind for my black Furby but changed my mind due to adaptors etc..

he cheated, his wheels are replica's!!

so they are 5x100 fitment, no adaptors required

i think his tyres are 215/40 R17's

clears it up! any idea where they were from? hmmm, i wonder if they do an 18" version ;)

Dunc

he got them from ebay so may be an idea to take a look on there.

Not replicas, so you'll need adaptors, but this place always have a good selection of stuff.

Porsche Parts and Porsche Wheels - Jasmine PorschaLink UK

Edited to add, i forgot that they do sell replicas, but not sure if it's only still in Porsche fitment or not as i've never enquired.

and if you need adaptors you can get them here:

H&R / Wheel Hub Adaptors / Skoda Fabia + RS / Euro Performance Car Parts

going by experience, i'd recommend 20mm width if you want to keep the ET correct, or wider if you want them to stick out further, i have 20mm on the front and 35mm on the rear.

35mm is a bit wide but look good although causes arch issues if you go for a hefty drop on your suspension.

what alterations need to be done in order to fit those porsche wheels

Wheels + adaptors + correct tyre size.

Bobs your Uncle. :)

I have just bought a set of the 18" off ebay.

Does anybody know the size of the tyre I will need for my Leon?

The tyre sizes that are on now are FRONT 215.40.18 and REAR 255. 40. 18

I've no idea.

Maybe ask on Seat Cupra Forum and see what they suggest.

I'm not sure how different the Seat tyre sizes are from the Octavia etc..
