Got my vRS SE...

Featured Replies

...Last Thursday.

Well chuffed with it. Seats are uber-comfy.

Have done 900 miles in it since I got it and averaged a Miss Daisy rivalling 59mpg!

Glovebox lid rattles...gonna fix that with some sticky foam. The hesitation is there at around 1800rpm, I can live with that.

One query though, I thought that I'd get an arm rest! No sign of one anywhere!

:D

Cool motor

by driving slowly :) haha most of the time

my route to work takes me through Buncefield and onto the M1 to J4 - not exactly a fuel munching route, the 50mph limit accounts for a lot of the economy!

I'm sure I read somewhere on here that you could fit one from a Polo in about half an hour?

<...Comes back from searching>

Ok, not a Polo, but it is possible to do it yourself: http://briskoda.net/forums/fabia/armrest/87472/

Not sure I'd like the handbrake obstructed like that, but each to their own I suppose! :)

Happy Hunting :) there are some instructions on the site around self fitting.
