Koni FSD Eibachs Jabba OMG

Featured Replies

Woo hoo, Yesterday I sat in Jabba's waiting room as they fitted Koni FSDs Eibach springs and a rear ARB, I know everyone goes on about this but damn they are right, it needs to bed in abit and they ran out of time to do my tracking, but the car is 100% different, its not a wild wow its slammed to the ground, in my eyes it looks standard, but over the crap roads of England it is just spot on, its stiff as cornering and softer than factory over speed bumps, the car feel solid one minute then nice and comfy the next, roundabout seem fun again. who ever came up with combination, pat on the back from me:thumbup::);):D

Cheers to Sarah at Awesome for the parts

and cheers for Jabba for fitting.

I was gonna go to my home town and get the tracking done, but not going there now, anyone now of a good place to go in hemel or watford area, prepared to go a few miles for the best equipment.

Sooooooooooo happy, now just need some dry roads to really find out what difference the rear ARB has made, the few i have done in the wet all have seem better.

Great stuff!!

I had the Koni FSDs added to my Eibachs and Jabba RARB last week and I concur, big smiles! :D

I went out specifically for a drive this evening, and the combo of a Jabba remap, Jabba RARB, 312mm brakes + the Eibachs and FSDs is just superb.

Enjoy old chap! :D

i hear nothing but good reports on this setup,so i bought a different setup lol,but the jabba rear arb is awesome:thumbup:my second most effective mod after my diff,

What you got planned next if anything?

Well its finally dry went for a spin tonight, the car has found grip that never existed before and thats with some tired tyres on the front, I went round some roundabouts and the car was just planted, very impressed all that lean is now gone, the slighty dangerous levels f understeer is almost gone, you can point it where you want it now, it just grips sits and sh!ts it way round bend now, just need to get use to what gears are best now, so use to my high revving Type R, gears are proving a pain to get use to.

next mods are 312 brake conversion, then some new front tyres, sort my stereo out, I have a double din DVD screen unit, dont really want it so gonna down grade to single din, so any one wants a swap near Hemel Hempstead give me a shout, then hmmmmmmm cough cough cough remap nah....yeah........nah.......yeah.....nah......yah....... ummmmm

worth every penny this is what a good factory set up should be like:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Did you have your bump stops trimmed?

I've got the eibachs and jabba rarb on std. dampers and didn't get the bump stop trimmed and I regularly hit the bump stops when there's big bumps.

Still thinking about getting the FSD's...

Hopefully I will be going down the same route shortly - just need to get rid of my noisy nearside front under warranty they I will have a jolly down to Awesome.

Been holding back on doing another trackday (& The Ring) until I have the suspension sorted.

If you don't mind me asking, how much were the parts and labour. I'd like these doing at some point.

Hello my dear

Glad you got sorted

That is when this forum comes in to its own as people can look at what mods have been done and what people think

Nice one and thank you for your kind words

The rear ARB is superb!!!

I had my suspension done then afterwards went on for the RARB , what a difference

The front one too just finnished it off

But then mine is a 100pd so I think the difference with the front ARB will be noticed more

I am so pleased for you , go enjoy all!!!

Sarah

Chowy old boy, you will love the FSDs :)

Noticed you are in the NE - if you are near 'ull (Hull) you are welcome to have a ride in my car and see what you think.

A bit more than I wanted to, also waiting for Jabba to call me back as they have charged me for parts I supplied, but hey its all good, but no matter how mch you get quoted this combo is unreal, it just looks and feels like a really good factory set up, speed bumps not a problem roundabouts can be taken far quicker, comfort is just well, I think I am saying the same thng over and over again, but blimey it really is that good, stiff soft quiet doesnt knock or bang just work, I almost have the car I was after. a quickish diesel that eats roundabouts to replace my Type R :thumbup::thumbup:
