water in footwell

Featured Replies

just inherited a fabia comfort 1.4mpi estate 2003-and whist giving it the full valet found that the rear passenger footwell is very damp, any ideas or solutions

Hi and welcome aboard.

I have exactly the same problem on my 99 Octavia Tdi. The rear left passenger footwell was like a swimming pool, at least four inches of rain water.....

I don't think it's related to my heater core problems mentioned below either....But I could be wrong....?????

My car was off the road for a couple of weeks because the heater core started leaking.... It was a massive job to repair....

Will be putting up the whole repair job in a hundred easy steps on the fourm when I have time.

My heater core/matrix exploaded at 142 K miles....Anyone driving a high milage VAG car should be expecting the darn thing to pop anytime soon....

welcome to the forum, you will find answers in the relevant car sections. :)
