Yetis abroad!

Featured Replies

Good luck with the new one . Enjoy.

The reason you see more Jukes around is because there are a lot of tasteless beings in this world.

I'm going to England today.

Does that count?

When the Juke was announced I took my teenage daughter to look at one but we found it too small inside both for the two of us and for luggage. They have an oddball look which is one of the things I also see in the Yeti.

Absolutely. I count crossing the Pennines too.

I've been on my travels too. Saw lots of Yetis as hire cars in Switzerland - now we know where they all are. Spotted just three on a trip to Australia but then I was only there for five days. A week in Turkey and I only saw two! I'm sure the Russian Jukes are only popular because they are cheap!

My Yeti went there once too ... we soon came back to the mother country though :hi:

Arrived home safely after visiting my daughter's final year graduation exhibition at Worcester Uni:

.... so you should be. If we can not be proud of our kids who can???

Very true.

She went to Uni at 28 as a mature student with an interest in graphic design and "street art", after spending a while as an unqualified graphic designer for a large Midlands Garden Centre company. None of the "right" qualifications but a good portfolio and a good attitude that got her through the interviews. Now they've offered her, and found the finance, for her Masters.

The "wall" behind her was to cover up unwanted storage during the exhibition and was requested by the Uni, and was started by her on Sunday, and finished Tuesday!

She has also now started her own company doing murals as well as photography; commisions welcomed!!

That is a very talented lady there Llanigraham, some great stuff on the site, not all to my tastes, but to be fair, for a person of a similar age to your Daughter, I do have old man's tastes! But I do like it much of it.

Absolutely brilliant !!! If I were her, and I had her talent.......I would concentrate on selling graphic design for single walls in childrens bedrooms........I would hire her tomorrow for my kids rooms......I painted one wall in my childrens room a single colour (wow)....but when you see the things other people can do with a little imagination.

Please, please, please....tell her to sort out her website....it really does not do her skills justice. She has a 'wordpress' website, so she may be interested in 'themes' produced by 'http://www.graphpaperpress.com/'.

Good luck to her.

Thank you both.

She does have a new "proper" website currently under construction (http://www.unknownbliss.co.uk/) but I will pass on your link.

We are both very proud of her!
