Front grill detailing, sort of like on a GTI

I thought we were talking trying some red sticky back plastic (Electricians Tape or Pin Striping tape) on a front lower grill and see if you like it..

Saying that, might even try red electricians tape first to see how it looks before i buy the vinyl wrap lol

it looks good on a golf because it's retro and harks back to the Mk1, same as the tartan seats.  They'd look ****e in a VRS too , just like that grill does.

Keep it Skoda and keep it dark and moody

I'll stick to my chrome trim… that red looks cr-ubbish, spesh with the red bits on the wheels. The red inside the headlight (Halo rings) Looks about the best… Mainly 'cos it takes a second look to spot it! Essex boy?

I did it to mine with some cheap car wrap from eBay, was around £4 and easy enough to do whilst grill still on the car

For me, it all goes wrong when you make different materials the same colour. The red sections on those black alloys with red detailing on the plastic grill then the red highlighting on the lights. All those look good in isolation but I'm not a fan of them when they're all together. As ever, just my opinion!

 

EDIT: You also start going awry when you add too many colours on the body work. Red calipers are acceptable because they suggest (don't guarantee) performance upgrades. What you're looking at is styling upgrades and 3 colours rarely work together (manufacturers logos can be different but again because they subconsciously suggest performance upgrades rather than styling, for example the s2000 style white and black decals found on some vRS models)

Yeah, nice and easy to trim around.

It's stayed on quite well as well. No signs of it peeling at the edges yet...
