The Premium WLAN with integrated high-speed LTE internet option.

Featured Replies

This has become available in the options list, it seems to include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi & 4G. Has anyone ordered it and is it any good?

Ta.

Have you tried asking in the Superb III section, someone may have specced it and taken delivery.

Sounds like this is the first of the MY16.5 changes.

Yep, I know. I had a look on Superb forum and it seems that no one has specced it, I was just wondering what benefits it'll bring, as it would be quite useful to have internet access whilst travelling around the country.

Of limited value for money I think. If you have a smartphone you can already enable tethering or personal hotspot as Apple call it. I do this for my passengers, put the phone in the bluetooth+ cubby hole and enable tethering. Seems like an expensive option for what it does.

As far as I understand the option is listed as PT7 if you have combined Bluetooth+ Premium WLAN and LTE (mobile sim slot with 4g data access) with Columbus. Is that right?

You really want to have your car on-line?

A very nice back-door for hackers...just google it.

Anyhow...maybe I'm more paranoid than I thought...or it is my other personalities speaking ;P

Then is there a monthly cost for a 4g data plan on top? I'd just setup a hotspot on my phone if anyone really needed it.
