If it’s replaced under manufacturers warranty it will only have warranty until the end of the original warranty period

Slacken of the bolts about a quarter turn and tap with a hammer down wood it only needs to move a couple of mm you will see how far it moves as it will have left a mark and re tighten put the wedges back to to original position first dont undo the bolts to much as it will move to much

I would adjust the boot striker before the the wedges if you bring them up to high the boot might stand proud or not fully seal

It may be that the alarm sounder has been disabled

That was at my local dealer Karoq was in for service and a recall and I asked what’s your best price on a DSG service and they said £140 I do get on well with them bought 5 cars of them never be afraid to ask for a discount
