  1. If you are reading this post do not despair! The horrible burning smell coming from your new diesel car is OK. When you stop and turn the engine off and the fan stays on and the engine seems to be super hot, the car is OK. The above are clear signs of an active DPF regeneration and is normal for your new diesel Skoda car. To comply with the latest emission levels diesels have to capture the large soot particles and burn them up into smaller particles which are kept in the DPF, this process is called regeneration. A lot of regenerations take place during normal driving where the exhaust is hot enough to burn the soot in the DPF and are unnoticed and are known as passive regeneration. When the temperature in the DPF is not hot enough for an passive regeneration, the ECU injects diesel into the DPF which burns up the soot and is known as an active regeneration. When you stop the car part way through an active regeneration, often the car smells like it's burning and the engine fan will stay on to cool the car. Mods could you please edit this thread (if needed) and make it a sticky or just delete, thanks
  2. most of them have noticed that the full LED rear lights will be used on the new facelift version. I had the opportunity to shrink the rear Full LED lights from the facelift version to ours before the facelift. my friend ordered them and had them mounted first, but without lighting. let I say that: I´m first successfully light on, mounted and coded the facelift lights ... I can prepare an article over time, this is just basic info and photos. the car is available for viewing in the east of Slovakia, in the Czech Republic is friend in Prague (but I do not know if it will be willing to show it) unwrapping / test in living room on battery / pinout: test in car - left Full LED, right without any lights -> error, check the rear lights without coding / after coding / fog / brake / backup: off / on: another friend offered himself earlier to capture better night shots, including comparison with regular lights test on silver and white car: final photos: price: about 300 - 320 € of pair exchange is not complicated. it is necessary to change the order of the pins in the connector and to encode it. the difference is in the fog lamp, the designation H21W BAY9S. directional and reverse are identical, just replace -- sorry for my terrible English. if it is my power, I will answer the questions
