I could write a book on this! My order was 24th March. Nowhere near being delivered, but is defo defo a my16. There has been delays and scouts getting preferential build slots etc etc. Anyhow after much much to and fro i have all the documents which on them says my16! Mine will be in UK this week then delivery to N.I and all the rest. Im supposed to get it 29th June :(

Ok im in a similar situation: and HAVE been asked what i would like as form of goodwill gesture. Tbh i couldnt think, as i never expected to be in this situation and being compensated was the last thing on my mind. SUK said they will get back to me with a package. Now i hate saying this, i dont wanna be this person! ... But my next door neighbours daughter is a 'big wig' for VW in N.I and has taken a keen interest in my 'wait', and on me relaying my situation and my apparent lack of interest in being compensated she in no terms told me to catch myself on!! Ive been told to factor everything in my case. EVERYTHING. Taxi's, getting up early for work every day, missed overtime, all lifestlye inconviences...selling a v good car. Basically impact and inconvienance and cost. At the end of the day some people dont wanna rock the boat, and some people are happy to say nothing. Easy going, laid back. Some people are aggressive and go for everything owed them, (like my Neighbour) but when its spelled out to you they are usually correct, and why should you not be compensated? My advise is the same i was given, write down everything that has impacted you negatively with dates and costs etc and look at it honestly. I feel a bit embarresed tbh to say this all down the phone to a man or women who is the same as myself, only going in to do a days work, i may just let my neighbours daughter make the call! But.. If youve been hard done by and its not your fault dont be affraid to go for it. Fingers crossed SUK do me right.

Skoda uk told me today from port to dealer in N.I is 3 weeks. Been hearing storys the scout orders were prioritised all week. This seems to back that up. You ordered a month after me and will get car a week before me!But good luck and health to enjoy.

Only ordered standard car with black pack and sunset windows. Blue estate.

Ordered Vrs tdi estate 24th March. Told 6week lead time, but wink wink nod nod expect it to be 8 weeks. No problem. I was offered a silly amount for my octavia, and was told that if i run it on until delivery obviously the silly offer would be even worse. So advertised my car and after 3 weeks got a sound offer £1300 pound more than 1st silly offer from stealer. So sold it. Hey ho, walk to work for 3 weeks max 5 weeks. Taxi taxi rain rain shops etc etc. The only car we had etc etc. long story short, been mucked around silly, given delivery date after delivery date, booked days off work. 1/2 days before said date stealer rings up, bad news im affraid etc etc. Was eventually told June 10th. I said ok July? Stealer says if its not here then ill give you a car until it arrives. 2 days ago, no car. Then dealer wants me to insure car he said he would GIVE me, then says i ahould hire car off him until end of month and insure it and he would pay for insurance via deposit refund when my car arrives?? Said WHAT? Forget your car. Got onto Skoda UK. Car still in GERMANY. Sorry sorry etc. TODAY theough social media they inform me it is at emdon, and i will have car in 4 weeks. Sorry sorry etc. im awaiting a call from there complaints team now. Am i wrong in thinking something is up here? I sold my very very good car on the back of there lead time at point of sale? Im really not happy, dont wanna go into all the extra taxis getting shopping dentists doctors football practise etc etc that goes when you have no car. So JULY now for me. Ordered 24th March.

Would of been ok if he just said expect it July, but getting the hump now with the lies, was six weeks, then ..... Etc etc :(

I do no i got free nav/ can i ask what the differences are with my15/my16?

Ordered my VRS on 24th March. Dont know what build date was dont know if its my16 or not. Dont no anything exept dealer rung and said hoping for 10th june delivery....

I am waiting for my new vrs, pch, should i get GAP insurance also? Thanks

I ordered 24th march. No clue when it be delivered. In N.I and dealer not in rush to reply to emails or says he will call and does not...started off great, slowly getting on my nerves..

Yea i agree, i had them on my old white octavia, but looking at 99.9 % of the mk3 pics they dont have them. I was just wondering if they looked odd, was there a reason etc. some more pics with mud flaps would be great. Anyone?

Perfect Andy, just what i was looking. Thank you. Im not overly worried about the cost, probably would get them myself if i like them. They look good on your Car Andy and dont detract from the looks, in my opinion. Cheers

Hi guys, just waiting to get my new vrs estate in race blue, yawn, tick tock, and was asked by the dealer if i wanted the mats and flaps deal @120£ extra. I said no, then thought about it, but i cannot find any decent photos of an estate with these fitted. The light is bad on most photos, or to far away or blurred etc. i do not want to ruin the look of the car, but also id like to improve it if poss? Can anyone with the flaps post up some good pics here so i can make me mind up once and for all?! Thanks in advance.
