  1. I'm selling a set, could courier them too;) Day
  2. The PFL are a little plain looking, ideal for the sleeper look. Means you dont get all the dickheads trying to race you from the lights. The FL have a little more kit on them and do look very nice. But as an all round car they're perfect, cheap to insure, ultra reliable, and with the 2ZZ it'll pretty much eat most cars for breakfast, including the Clio. They might not be everyones cup of tea. But as a Jekyll and Hyde car, you cant beat it. Day
  3. You have to remember what Skoda used to be. Badge snobbery gets you nowhere:) Day
  4. The bushes come out fairly easy. Worth the hard work. Day
  5. The arms dont look like they're corroded so just have them removed, polybush and refit. You'll notice nore steering feel too. Helps keep the geometry in shape too:) Day
  6. For the hassle its worth, just buy some second hand consoles. I paid £25 for one of mine after the bolt snapped. You won't have any room to fit a nut due to how the casting is made. You'd need to grind a fair amount of material for a nut to be fitted. Day
  7. That we can see:) Pics however we cant. Day
  8. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/221267995191?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649 Day
  9. Corolla T Sport for me, owned 2 of them and would have another. Faster than the Celica and cheaper to insure. No reliability issues, lots of fun and great Toyota build quality. Wouldnt touch the Renaults unless you've got a good warranty. As for the GTI 180, had one before and was the biggest pile of crap ever. Driveshafts breaking, gearbox issues, headgasket failure (30k miles). Day
  10. Lol. I dont mind helping a fellow member out. Day
  11. It's a doddle. Took me 15 mins to do lol. And no a press isnt needed. Day
  12. I've just gone for the Powerflex one. Engine movement has been reduced for a little bit of vibration on idle. Hardly noticable with it being a diesel anyway. I used this http://www.powerflex.co.uk/road-series/product-details/Lower+Engine+Mount+Large+Bush+%28Diesel%29/2067.html as its designed for the diesel due to the lower shore rating. Dat
  13. They're the ones I thought of lol. They look good on the Cupra but dont do it for me on a fabia lol. Day
  14. Which Leon wheels are you talking about? And its not worth it, put a wanted ad up and the best offer I got was from Nathyp offering a set of mint wheels needing 4x tyres for a straight swap. Hardly worth it lol. Day
  15. I did have a set of VRS wheels but sold them when the spiders came up lol. As for finding a set in fairly good condition for the right price is impossible, same goes for the Montreals or 16in spiders. Plus i've invested around £480 in the spiders i've got at present so dont really wanna be spending loads more. Day
  16. I just fancy a change. The 17in spiders i've got are too harsh on my commute so wanted something smaller with a bigger sidewall. Day
  17. Thats what i'm thinking. Dont fancy anything bigger than 16in if possible. And correct they are 5x100:) Only downside is they're ET43 :( Day
  18. Has anyone ever tried this before? Here are the wheels in question. Thanks Day
  19. Really? Why do they make it so complicated? Day
  20. Passats, boras, all that use the PD130 with the 6 speed. Day
  21. Always prefer to be polite. If they're nice enough to acknowledge you, the least you can do is say hello back. Day
  22. I stand corrected haha! Better memory than me lol. Still havent seen your car around lol, where do you hide? Day
