Yes, mine chatters a bit in neutral. You would have to strip the gearbox to fit a new one. The gearbox oil level plug is 17mm hex. I used the head of a bolt to undo mine as didn't have a 17mm hex tool. Level plug location...

Yep, input shaft bearing. They all seem to do it- it will go on forever like that. However, it's worth checking the gearbox oil level if you haven't already. Nice work on getting it all sorted!

So the crank pulley spun but didn't actually turn the crank as the woodruff key was already removed? Only the cam was turned? - 1.4 mpi 8v timing chain....help!
