  1. Could be a wheel bearing. Is it a whining/moaning sound?
  2. The muck and sludge from the scuttle panel drains ends up trapped behind the bottom of the wings. That's what rots them out. Mine are starting to go. Not had experience of fitting any panels on it yet though.
  3. Nah, it works the other way around. The switch is not being pushed when the door is closed. When the door is opened the switch is pushed by the lock cam and the circuit is closed.
  4. Don't know. The diagram is not detailed enough.
  5. Yes, the interior light microswitches are on the outside of the lock module. They are held on with a metal clip. All other microswitches are inside the unit.
  6. Mine's only a base model Fabia but the back doors do work the interior light.
  7. Hmmm, I guess you coud pull off the plugs in the rubber door bellows and see if the light goes out.
  8. I think I was mistaken about the convenience unit. I think the relay is actually inside the Onboard Supply Control Unit (J519) above the accelerator pedal. That is a different module to the convenience unit.
  9. Unfortunately I don't. Someone else may be able to help though.
  10. Sorry, just realised you were asking where the convenience unit Onboard Supply Control Unit (J519) is. It's under the dash above the accelerator pedal. However, if the relay is faulty if can't be replaced unless you open the module and solder a new one in. Not an easy job at all. You can replace the whole unit but they have to be coded to the car as far as I know.
  11. There is an interior light wiring diagram in amongst these... http://inhouse.uw.hu/elektronika/Skoda_Fabia_Praktik_1.9_SDi_2006_wiring.pdf
  12. Only beeps with the drivers door. Here's a video....
  13. Yes the interior light switch is a microswitch on the drivers door lock module inside the door. If those other functions are working though, it might be the relay in the convenience unit Onboard Supply Control Unit (J519) which controls the light.
  14. Yep, into the passenger side bellows. I only discovered it because I was replacing the bellows. It's still fine
  15. There are two microswitches inside the lock module that tell the system that the key has been turned. One of them could be faulty or have a bad solder joint. You would need a new lock module or to fix the bad solder joint(s) which requires the door stripping down. Stripping the door is not easy unless you're good with that kind of thing. Numbers 1 & 2 in this pic are the key switches..... Also check for broken wires inside the rubber door bellows and check for corrosion at the plugs/sockets.
  16. Fuse number 3 is the diagnostics fuse. It is 5 amp.
  17. Is the car left-hand drive?
  18. No. Here's a video that shows how to reset it...
  19. Green connector pinout....
  20. Could be dodgy solder joints on the instrument cluster circuit board at the green connector. You can reflow them if you're good with a soldering iron. This video is about the immobiliser but shows how to remove and open the cluster to access the solder joints...
  21. I used TRW GSK1512 It comes with new wheel cylinders but if you don't want those they might do another kit without them.
  22. They might mean the wires in the door bellows, they can snap with the opening and closing of the doors over the years. Can be repaired if you're handy with a soldering iron. This was mine for example...
