  1. Hi has anyone managed to find or compile a list of Laura voice commands? It seems very "hit and miss" as a voice assistant even after ive subscribed to the" Infotainment Online" service
  2. https://ebay.us/m/h2sy0Y These will fit 225/40/18
  3. Hi anyone here using OBDEleven with prefacelift Karoqs. I seem to have inadvertantly enabled the "Electric driving and charging" menu on my Columbus even though obviously my car is neithe electric or hybrid
  4. A lot of the one click apps can actually be coded using the Adaptions menu for the control units if you have the Pro plan. Here is a link to a usefull coding website: www.vag-coding.net/?s=Karoq Im still playing with this on my Karoq. So far what works : High Beam Assist Refuel qty Clima fan speed display in Auto I can code either Lane Assist or Adaptive Lane Assist to be active in isolation. Both work correctly with Adaptive showing both lane markings in orange and it keeps the car betweeen the lines. I can also create a menu item on the Infotainment Display that shows Lane Assist active and Adaptive Lane Assist as a check box, but pressing it does not invoke Adaptive mode over the standard mode. Maybe others can give the other codings a try an report back successes of failures?
  5. Hi has anyone managed to enable Auto Light Assist on a 2020 Karoq with AFS1 LED front lighting. There is no Light Assist menu on Columbus. I have the Lifetime Pro plan and a Version 1 OBDEleven white adaptor. Ive tried some online guide suggestions that will cause the White A headlamp symbol to appear on the Virtual Cockpit, but immediately results in Light Assist fault condition with no activation of Main Beam. Module 09 then records Databus error. Second image coding failed to cause any additional Light Assist menu to appear on the Columbus.

Hi all, i never went really went away. After me 2010 Octavia estate started to fall apart i briefly dabbled with Ford Kuga 176 petrol auto AWD. Awfull mpg. Now back with a 2020 Karoq 1.5 Petrol DSG
  7. Hi, My rear wash has failed as the hose has split in the flexi boot between the body and hatch. Anyone know the internal diameter of the pipe as I'm considering a repair joiner or complete pipe replacement. Also rear wiper does not function even with the boot closed, and boot internal lights only function sometimes. OBDEleven confirms no fault with the stalk switch and no recorded faults with any modules including the Comfort Module. Haynes manual schematics shows fuse (Trailer?) as one of the feeds to the wiper motor? Have i got a dodgy boot microswitch? ..random blown fuse? failed wiper motor without fault code recorded?....any ideas folks?

  9. Cheers Me-109, Found one of those, that looks like a neat idea
  10. Cheers TheClient, I was just being a skinflint as i got a £10 Halfords voucher by email.have a Laser windback that fits Fords but the adaptors dont match my Octy pistons. Both are 3/8" drive so might use a cube with the driver handles off this!
  11. Anyone wound back one of these Lucas pistons with the cheese slice shaped slots. Wondering what the equivalent PCD is, and if one of these Laser piston cubes might do the trick.
  12. Just had my car DPF Regen issue sorted by a local garage...after much head scratching. I had DPF, MIL and Glow Plug lamp flashing with the car refusing to regen even when i commanded Service Mode driving regen using an OBDEleven. The preconditions were not being met as the pre-turbo temp sensor output was erratic, and the DPF Diff pressure sensor was defective. To be fair they did have the car since 24th Dec and only charged me 3 hours labour and £180 for sensors. £500 in total but did stop the DPF becoming completely Ash blocked
  13. Get a cheap OBD dongle....and crank up VAGDPF........this will be able to give you an idea as to whether the DOF is regenning
  14. Update: Garage believe they have sorted the problem now. Replaced pre turbo temp sensor and DPF differential pressure switch.
  15. Hi Langers i didnt take Skoda up on the offer of the emissions fix. I guess if my local garage cant do this a Skoda dealer garage will want to load 9980 patch
  16. Varaderoguy cheers for your response. Car does nowhere near the milage that it used to. 9 mile work commute is probably killing the DPF. I can put it in service mode but a request for a forced driving regen didnt seem to make ant difference. Wonder if it will passive regen in service mode if i leave it in that mode long enough?
  17. All I wanted for Christmas.....2010 1.6 CR Octavia dpf warning light...glowplug flashing.....engine revs limited to 2500rpm...VAGDPF shows Oil Ash at 54.47g....OBDEleven shows P245800 Particulate Filter Regeneration Duration Bank 1 hard fault. EOL Service mode selected ising OBDEleven and car revs freely through all gears while driving.... An attempt made to carry out "Service regeneration during driving" initiated via OBDEleven adaption menu .but no regeneration cycle starts. Take it out of service mode and car returns to limp mode. Soot is 26g Oil ash is 54g Time since last regen is now 1267 mins Anyone have any ideas or experience of this failure as have now left the car with a garage who are temporarily stumped. Cheers in advance. Gaz Quote
  18. All I wanted for Christmas.....2010 1.6 CR Octavia dpf warning light...glowplug flashing.....engine refs limited to 2500rpm...VAGDPF shows Oil Ash at 54.47g....OBDEleven shows Particulate Filter Regeneration Duration hard fault. "Service regeneration during driving" initiated via OBDEleven adaption menu and car revs freely through all gears while driving..... Take it out of service mode and car returns to limp mode. With an Ash Level that high i guess its time for a new DPF. Anyone had their dfp replaced...one with a "Type Approval" non OEM component? Dont really want to go to a Skoda dealer and get ripped off, would rather give my custom to a local independant garage.
