Hi guys, just a short update ... Today we spent most of the day at Highland Park Distillery at Kirkwall, Orkney Island. This is almost as holy ground to me, took the longest connoisseur tour and spent a small fortune at their shop ... ;-) We are actually traveling mostly ad-hoc against some advise previously and so far it is working out for us, we also plan things as we drive by and in Scottland there are just so or too many things to do in this short time. Everywhere you look there is something interesting ... This night is spent at the Point of Ness camp site just outside Stromness at the mainland of Orkney, it is very windy but so far the tent is standing ... Have a nice night!

Hi, think it's a very good start and remember to have fun with the DSLR. Also, dare to leave the auto modes actually learning and understanding to take more control of the exposure and the depth of field, focus plane and so on. It is not magic but can take some time to master ... :peek: ... When it comes to how the different elements in the photo can be placed and used, please see more about the rule of thirds. And it's just a rule ... that can be broken whenever you feel like it ... ! The photo composition is always up to the photographer ... Have fun!

I also recall several things in my Amundsen+ that are different depending on the key used, one thing I certainly remember is the startup volume on the stereo, very low with one of the keys (my main) and not restricted at all with the other (my spare). Made me wake up one early morning though, and all the neighbors as well ... ;-)

Ho, so did I. In Sweden it is a BIG no-no-no if you ask a legit and certified company to just do a refill without an extensive search for leaks and then repair whatever is necessary. Their policy is that if the system runs out of pressure, then you have a leak ... and after fixing the leak a new pressure test is conducted before any refill is attempted ... I really imagined that a leak like that, loosing pressure within 2 month's, should show up ... Hope you get it fixed, couldn't imagine a life without AC in the car ... ;-)

Hi guys! I like to follow my car's and motorcycles consumption using Fuelly.com instead of using the often and even sometimes very misleading on-board computer figures. Would be interesting to follow up the figures over time, right now I only find 13 other Superb's there and it would be interesting to have more to compare the figures from.

Hi! The Amundsen+ in our Superb's is made by Technisat and, if I am not completely wrong, the MIB Amundsen in the Octavia 3 is a Pioneer made unit. Same looks but completely different. I found kind of a map update bargain at eBay at "only" €160 ... but that was at least €120 lower than Swedish Skoda resellers ... Have a nice one!

Hi, I live about 50 miles from the factory and whenever I go to Ängelholm I try to sneak as close as possible to the gates, it's cool when you spot two or more roaring around inside at the old start and landing strip ... ;-) ... They are normally not shy on the throttle either ... What a sound!

Hi! In mine the temperature is always at the setting I left it at when I turn the engine on, never changing even if unused for an hour or four days ... and that is normally 19 or 20 degrees.
