  1. New shoes fitted 😃 …
  2. Exactly the same side that I’ve got an issue with as well, it does just feel like the cable needs reconnecting.
  3. Sorry to bump an old thread, but has anyone had this issue with the release handle in the boot that drops the seats not working? Feels like cable has disconnected, seat still drops using the mechanism on the actual seat itself.
  4. As mentioned above this is part of the procedure to remove the switch. Other than that it doesn’t provide any functionality to the lights 👍

They’re a great wheel, the weight reduction compared to an OEM alloy is mad. I don’t have any negatives to say on them, sold them in the summer after having them for 4 years without any issue, the paint quality was very good on them as well.

They were £1200 when I bought them in 2021 back when LK Performance supplied these
  7. That’s low miles really, my mk4 TSI vrs when I had it was capable of 42mpg+ just cruising on motorway. Petrol is cheaper as well.
  8. Just for others if searching for wireless adaptors. Don’t use this brand. Out the box a nice little product, but due to its shape and positioning of the usb and the shape of the mk3 dashboard just up above the usb port, this will not fit as it clashes with the dash, shame as it could have been a subtle adaptor. 9. Little update since the weather allowed it… Front splitter on to sharpen that front end look up. Went for Reiger again, nice and clean look to it. 😎 Photo No.2
  10. Well in a roundabout way I’ve ended up back in a mk3 VRS 🤣. Sold the 340 pretty quickly and jumped into an F80 M3 Competition which is one of the best cars I’ve owned. However, due to changes in the wife’s work (teacher wanting to drop hours to spend more time with our son) this ultimately had to go to support the her… so I’ve inherited her Rallye Green FL 230VRS which to be honest I’ve always had a soft spot for. I miss the big power and acceleration / handling of the M car but to be honest it’s difficult to beat the capability of these Octavia’s, proper solid all rounder IMO. Here it is having a bath, Titan Ceramic Coating working strong! Better photos to follow once I’ve finished tweaking it 😎
  11. My error mate, they were 19x8.5 5x112 et43 Matt Black
  12. I asked the dealer to switch it off permanently which solved the noise issues in the cabin, but leaves the car very very quiet due to the exhaust being so restrictive.
  13. My mk4 had aftermarket wheels on and never had an issue with warranty work, at the time it was constantly back and forth for failed radiator; infotainment issues, failed abs module. I’d lowered the car on coilovers, aftermarket wheels and some Maxton parts. Never questioned by main dealer on any warranty work.
  14. I had 19” Motec Ultralight MCR2 fitted on my mk4 which were an et42. Perfect fitment and zero rubbing. Car was on coilovers.
  15. On the mk4 pre-fl it was common for the engine fake induction sound in sport mode to cause rattling / vibration sound.
  16. My old mk3 vrs TDi was mapped to 230bhp with Revo. The clutch never skipped a beat. Rolling road print out in the link below. Would highly recommend it, changes the TDi RS entirely. Still returned good mpg if that’s a concern… the mid range pull is great. Someone else may know better but I’d think the TDi clutch is entirely different to the TSi to handle the lower down torque the diesel produces. I could be wrong there though 🤷‍♂️
  17. For the mk3? I did a 2 stage polish I think, took a full day to do the whole car and then ceramic coat it. The reflections and gloss levels were amazing though. I think it could have done with the first stage using a heavier compound though to get the deeper marks out of the paint. Motec MCR2 Ultralights in a satin black
  18. Sorry just logged back on to here, I bought an F30 340i as the mk4’s replacement. I’ve tinkered with it a little… Currently running 500bhp yeh I loved the mk4 for its colour and the exterior look, still think the front end looks great, it was a good drive although lacking any exhaust note. But the issues I had with the car ruined the experience, had to hand it back in the end for my own sanity.
  19. Car was handed back to Skoda early July. The ST XA coilovers are still available for anyone with a mk4 VRS who is looking to lower their vehicle and maintain a brilliant ride plus adjustable damping. PM for details of interested. Cheers
  20. Mine still crashed even with 1941 and new hardware installed. Absolute bag of s…e the mk4 is. I started getting headlamp lighting errors as well with the later software. This has been the worst car I’ve ever bought, so much so I rejected the car over the past month with Skoda buying it back off me last week, clearing my finance and full a refund of my previous PX cars cash value deposit. Only 5 months old. Glad we still have a mk3.5 VRS on the drive as it’s a superior platform entirely.
  21. Yep mine did this before I asked the dealer to turn the fake sound speaker off and it stopped this rattle when under acceleration.
  22. Just collected from dealer. RF module replaced and new 1941 software on it. Hope this works as i’m on the cusp of submitting a rejection letter to the dealer to hand the car back… No crashes on the way home…
  23. Changing the badge has no impact on the front assist. The badge is on the bonnet. The radar is behind the grill.
  24. Superskoda (Kopacek) do a really good emblem, but they’re expensive. Colour match has always been spot on though. https://www.kopacek.com/kamiq/emblems/kamiq-original-skoda-emblem-i-n-t-version-100mm-version-colour-f5w-race-blue
  25. hold the menu button down for a few seconds 👍
