Revo it 👍 Dyno run figures are on my project thread if you want to get an idea of power and torque it can get the RS TDi to with overlay comparison to a previously fitted tuning box fitted prior to the remap.

Hello and welcome! Hope you enjoy the new purchase 👍
-
yeah can do. Basically I didn’t have to trim the little tabs, just heat everything up so it’s nice and warm, peal back the tape and push into place and the location tabs will click into place. Sounds like they lock into the locating points by the noise it makes. 😊

Ignore this post sorted it 👍

Just got two emblems from Superskoda, the three guide pins are very long, so the badge doesn’t even touch the paint work, did anyone else just simply trim these pins down to suit?
-
To be fair they arrived this morning, so roughly two weeks since order to get to UK. Been in customs for most of that time.
-
Experienced one on a vrs not a Kodia and never thought it worked properly, gone to Revo since and not looked back. Wouldn’t touch a tuning box again.
-
Yeah Prime has spoilt us all rotten! Typically I have just received RM text saying its cleared customs, shouldn't be badgeless for much long
-
Yeah I had some cheapo emblems from eBay arrive but the colour match for race blue wasn’t even close. Now driving around badgeless for two weeks haha, it looks terrible 😂
-
Cheers mate, just two emblems on order, been about two weeks now. Wondering if current customs issues are getting in the way
-
Anyone got an idea of what a normal delivery duration is from Superskoda to the UK?

Cheers, yeh it’s certainly got me thinking about a dash cam and yes definitely could have been worse. Yeah one full piece I think apart from grills and fog surrounds. -
Would those rims fit on my octavia?

Just for consideration 19x8.5j et43 with 20mm spacer works for the rear, it’s a really wide stance though that you may / may not like. However it will definitely push the wheel past the arch on the front with either a 15/20mm adaptor/spacer; it’s likely to cause issues and also look really weird. -

Cheers mate! Much appreciated 👍 -
I’ve had a mare driving home from biking at my local riding spot this evening, lorry in front flicked up a ratchet strap and the ratchet part typically has smashed into the front of the car. Splitter trashed, lower front bumper paint all ruined and somehow it’s even managed to split the honeycomb lower grill Does anyone know the part number for the lower vrs grill and the best place to get a new one? TPS maybe or fleabay? Don’t really want to spend mega bucks at dealer for new part if it can be avoided. Also if anyone’s got a Reiger splitter for sale or knows of one please let me know 🤞

Louder exhaust on TSI 220 ?

Miltek non res cat backs are pretty good, loud when you want them to be yet quiet when not being thrashed. I know they’re quite expensive but the quality is good and they’re a well established brand across the VAG range. Have you also considered a resonator delete? That will open the sound up a bit more. -
Looks like you’ve got really close to their quoted max BHP output which is good. Main thing is >>> how does the car feel now with the new map? For comparison my VRS 184CR made on rollers 209bhp / 490Nm with a DTUK box (miles off their apparent output) and now makes 231bhp / 516Nm with Revo and the difference is night and day!

Which company remapped it?

Welcome and enjoy the new motor 👍
-
haha good luck, just take your time and should be fine 👍

No worries mate. Know what you mean haha! I’m sure they came with self tappers but you can pick up a pack from Halfrauds which are longer than the Maxton ones, I originally tried with double sided tape and it failed miserably 😂. Yeah any high strength contact adhesive like a Tiger seal or gorilla glue, the adhesive I had was industrial stuff from work. If you can get someone to help that’s also a massive help! Put the adhesive on and then line it up together and bond to the sill, then just drill the self tappers up into the sill.
-
Evening mate, I was the same but bit the bullet and installed with self tappers, but also used a high strength contact adhesive to bond to the sill but also around the screws so that it sealed up the hole. My one big piece of advice if you have access to a lifter definitely use, it makes life easier. I fitted with car half up a curb and jack fully extended to get right under the car. And just take your time if you do it 👍

It’s the projector headlamps with DRL strip so it should be xenon. The halogens use a reflector style lamp. I would just ask the seller to send a video with the lights on...
