  1. Shrink tube is very good choice but with silicone inside is excellent for permanately job. Some insulation tape pvc are cheap quality and after a while got sticky and unfold by themselves. Adhensive Cloth tape as Tesa 51608 is fine for cables in dry conditions.
  2. I have heard many stories here about cars with a head gasket failure which the mechanics took the chance to ''tunning'' the head on the bench so after the compression is one click higher. Is this good?
  3. ''original VW'' as some say it or other brand name? Maybe was a cheap one from a s.market or wholesale store?
  4. After the first change of antifreeze, i got rid of the factory green G11, it's been 20 years now that i haven't put it on again. Now only blue G11 and as much as possible brand name as Motul-HEPU-Repsol etc. Good luck with your examinations and when you come back i will ask you what's the functional difference between your Birth italy and mine (i have the blue at 1.2 bar).
  5. @Thefeliciahacker : Your coolant is Green colour?
  6. Cylinder head gasket surface maximum distortion Petrol: 0.05mm Diesel: 0.1mm
  7. So this will be renamed or there will be a new one "My felly is DONE FOR No2" ? 🧐
  8. In the past i have done some experiments with that hose (total remove, half remove etc) plus some experiments with filters and cone filter. I thought that the entry point of fresh air for that hose was a hole beside the towing eye that's why i was hesitating to install a second pair of fog light (as auxiliary).
  9. https://nemigaparts.com/cat_spares/etka/skoda/fel/101/129050/ Many-many years ago i removed both fog light grills, i remember where the towing eye hole was but i though that cool air to the air box was coming (item 16 on the above diagram) from a hole behind the plastic grill. That double fog light grill is self-made?
  10. 2 repair-shops (Non Skoda by the way) told me the same but i was still not convinced. But now with your most helpful post (with codes included) if feel covered on that matter.
  11. Yes which now resting behind the cover of the rear bumper but beside this hole isn't the factory one which feeds air the air box? The hose in the left side of the photo fits to the adaptor of that grille hole.
  12. Very nice but i would keep some factory items as radio antenna, the central console, the orange on side markers, plastic gear shift, manual windows etc. The armrest in the past caused me problems and i remove it. Nice wind shield wiper blades, keys, sunroof (needs wrap film). What is this cover? https://moje.auto.cz/?sekce=foto&im_id=im_4b4d0656354a4&ga_id=GA_4b4cd55821504 As about this https://moje.auto.cz/?sekce=foto&im_id=im_4b7801a4d8ee5&ga_id=GA_4b4cd55821504 Doesn't blocks the factory hose which brings air from the grille inside the filter? I have extra fog lights but are hawk-eye and not so big as these.
  13. I have the blue https://kritosparts.gr/Part/TAPA-DOX.NEROU-PSYGEIOU-GNISIO-6U0121321A/eG186U0121321A at 1,2 bar as the above Yellow. What's the functional difference in your Fellicia with the Birth Italy compared to these?
  14. These? https://www.birth.it/en/products/cooling-parts/coolant-cap What's the functional difference in your Fellicia?
  15. Some guys use them here, in motorcycles (motocross) and japanese cars (TRD, with thermometer on the top).
  16. Does someone wants temperatures in his Felicia (for example) more than 110 'C? The 120 'C is the limit before ''boom".
  17. https://partman.gr/product/tapa-docheioy-ypercheiliseos-ford-ranger-focus-fiesta-transit-mazda-bt-50-maz/ Isn't the same? Some Skoda caps write 1.2 bar and some 1.0 bar, what is the gain compared with the above?
  18. Gas only? These aren't to the "soft" side?
  19. Update: I had 46 kilometres with the old Ecu-chip and the old coolant (with non proper antifreeze mixture), i have made some changes and i run another 60 kilometres. Meantime i was looking everyday the TC-6 and i was happy seeing some progress, yesterday i made a refuelling although the sneaky employee tried to put more after the click of the pump. My Felicia had an average fuel consumption at city traffic of 9,5 lt/ 100 Km which is not only good news but leaving me optimistic for better results because now everything is as should be (i have the proper coolant, Ecu-chip updates, Amsoil additive, TC-6 better adjustment plus a recently Ecu reset) so i am in agony for the next refuelling. A two years suffering period goes to end.
  20. I will grab the chance: not too many but yes.
  21. Is it true or just a rumor that after refurbish the Koni become a little bit harder as they were in original condition?
