  1. I have post some of them in the beginning of the topic. https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/527206-fuel-gauge-problem-please-help/?do=findComment&comment=5889387
  2. This is USSR era materials, 70's-80's he had in here in GR too https://live.staticflickr.com/475/32332203865_882acf7d95_b.jpg https://www.newsbeast.gr/image/s990x/webp/file/files/1/2015/07/busd37.jpg https://www.newsbeast.gr/image/s990x/webp/file/files/1/2015/07/busd42.jpg https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTQ1v8o5doz8gfD-C7Lr8g3JZXEyQL2vUXkuA&s https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQLfCNcXkOYdBLuPn0lYokXN_94ho2TZkxodcpATvhpnyF_53iItmuIYOnYeAQ360XM-nw&usqp=CAU https://oasa.b-cdn.net/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/DSC00342a.jpg https://oasa.b-cdn.net/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/DSC00347.jpg https://www.news247.gr/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/027_01_04162022-scaled.jpg https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxJ4zOgJ-C6cbXbVlGyNKgbK4u0Iqrx There materials had nothing to do with this thread, i don't have them and i will never intend to use them in my car, is it so difficult to understand it? As for the accusations all of them are false, directed by other and had nothing to do with this thread. __________________________________ To any Skodian that reads this: since he can not read this please take a screenshot and send it to him and that's the END of it.
  3. Yes that's why here in GR when someone says ''I am Vinyl fan'' means is a collector of Vinyl music discs https://athinapalaiopoleio.gr/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/sheer-window-curtains-vinyl-record-1.jpg-1-750x600.jpg because Vinyl is a type of plastic and a toxic one. So now that we clarify about seat covers, train seats, gear knobs, Jawa frames and pedals let's move on to Steering Wheel spacers and Wheels. You create a whole fuss to me for (1) Heater Core photo and now we have a dozen irrelevant posts.
  4. My posts had to do with different things than the politics that you have mention. I don't care to talk for this period, my point was crystal clear, this is a thread about steering wheel spacer and i didn't say nowhere about any countries. If you have issues with USSR i have too and maybe much more than yours but this is not the place to analyse it. _______________________________________ I checked my notes, i have 70.000 km completed with Sport style steering wheels and never regret this decision. This was my first but unfortunately was discontinued. Richbrook steering wheel 350mm RIC5000.60
  5. Happened to me in the past, the base of the coolant sensor had detritus and this caused an overheat in this area. Check the pins and the cables, i also had problem there too.
  6. Steering wheel adjustable spacers. I don't even think about it, the price is 122-130 euro.
  7. I am married, my wife has been sited in factory fabric-leather-synthetic leather cover seats of Felicia for 24 years. As me, she had no problem at all, so? You want to ask all the back seat visitors to express to you their opinion? I think a new thread for cover seats must be opened. No. Yes. I quote the word Δερματινη which in Greece is the translation of ''synthetic leather'' (the most common) or ''leatherette" (French) plus i wrote to you 3 times what cover seat i have, i posted photo plus price. Read the description in the store: In the future for sure i will buy the same type and colour. ________________________ I have no time reading-posting about USSR era materials of Jawa frames and posting about pedals in a steering wheel thread. I love my steering wheel, it's nice looking and it helps me the most all these years in my driving style. When it ruined i will buy the same, if it's not ''ecological'' or someone does not like the colour i can not and i don't want do anything about it.
  8. Here is something (let's say) similar in 140 euro but still is a ''NO'' cause i don't like a steering wheel to has 2 or 4 spoke, only 3.
  9. Τhis is from the same company as mine https://4eshop.gr/1578410-large_default/luisi-τιμόνι-αυτοκινήτου-sharav-340-δερμάτινο-τριάκτινο-με-διάμετρο-34cm-λάμα-ασημί-μαύροκωδικός-τιμ23451-01-lu.jpg Leather, 300 euro, take a look the shape it's like barrel rim, it's absolutely ''NO'' for me. 194 euro but i don't like the fact that has no ''deep'' thumb rest positions.
  10. Δερματινη wrote @Thefeliciahacker which is the ''synthetic leather'' translated in Greek. Cloth, PVC, Polyester, Polyurethane, Synthetic leather are the material for covers (full-semi) that you can find here. Mine is this, ''reinforced'' edition there is another one ''Light'' which is thinner and cheaper, same with Cloth, reinforced-light-with holes-Alcantara, see the categories here https://www.pancarshop.gr/kalymmata-koukoules/kalymmata-platokathismata/ Mine is this I have faced high temperatures inside the car with these, no problem all these years.
  11. Μany companies have been acquired by others nowadays. Buy a thermostat together with the plastic shell and gasket, for example as this: Pay attention to the coolant sensor, keep your old or check the new one because many Yellow ring sensors have to marks on them and that is suspicious. Avoid at all cost the VIKA.
  12. Here is something ''relevant'' https://www.sterling-automotive.co.uk/products/momo-millennium-steering-wheel-black-leather Here in GR has 325-350 euro. As for this: NO WAY !
  13. I have synthetic leather cover seats, the ''quality'' edition with a cost now at190 euro, have them on for many years and are in very good condition except: The passenger seat bearing has some dark spots due to a mechanic mistake (lay on his tools) and the drivers seat on the left side has a scratch due to my duty belt (and the accessories that i have on it). I have installed real leather in my door panels and i have painted door handles and chrome lock pins.
  14. My seat covers are made of that material, i have them for many years and still look in very good condition, i have posted photos of them. In the past i had real leather, expensine to buy and expensive to repair, so what was the gain?
  15. I asked you about the Army or a IPSC in purpose, there you could learn that if you completely strech your hands and keep a pistol (and your hands are a bit bent): Fatigue will come faster, you will start trembling quicker, you can not have strong grip and someone can snatch your weapon very easy, you can not make quick turns and adjustments, you can not absorb much recoil...all you can is to have a fancy stance for photos. As a Civilian if you hold a glass of water with compleately streched hands and try to walk or move left-right what will happen? You will spill it much easier than if your hands are a bit bent. When your hands are closer to your torso you have more control of what you are doing. My point is: when you hold a smaller diameter, robust, with thumb rests steering wheel your hands are closer to your ribs which means you can control your moves better, you can ''feel'' compleately of what you are doing, no jerky movements, no trembling, more precission movements, far better handling when the rpm go higher. Stock Felicia steering wheel is clumsy, slippery, non proper for sport driving, brings more vibrations and gets you tired much earlier so there was no reason to keep it. PS: I have changed the factory pedals too, should i kept the small plastic that it had?
  16. You already have seen the 2, the last one have it about 5-6 years and looks extremely good. The previous yes was a cheap one, bought it in a hurry and i did't want to repair the external surface after some years because i wanted to buy this https://www.ebay.com/itm/335021559645 https://mycar.gr/product/timoni-kobra-320mm-triaktino-mafro-luisi/ is what i have, is 320mm and i bough it in purpose smaller that the usual which are 350mm. By the way should i have kept the crappy factory plastic gear knob? Would be more ''original look'' the interior huh? I have change it 2 times with a chrome one, much betetr looking, more practical, non slippery and very helpful in sport driving style.
  17. I read every post, i pay attention and reply step by step with details. Looks ''factory'' to me. http://zrcadlo.net/obrazky/clanky/2016-08/velky/ne3-2308201611133114716.jpg http://zrcadlo.net/obrazky/clanky/2016-08/velky/ne1-2308201611132524406.jpg The original steering wheel save them?
  18. Felicia's factory steering wheel is proper for grandpa-grandma driving, neither a taxi drives in a City would like it. If you notice the @Thefeliciahacker it's ruined from use and looks ''gypsy'' as we say here in Greece. Very bad looking, personally i deny to touch a steering wheel like this.
  19. Alfa Romeo No ''barrel rim'' steering wheels, robust with thumb rest position. Alfa Romeo 2003-2010 https://s3.eu-west-2.amazonaws.com/doncaster-image-drive/Part/2022/November/c816e968-3a79-47fd-b5b6-f47a08871227_14980689.jpg Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione https://www.williamloughran.co.uk//media/3386/alfa-romeo-8c-1481-12.jpg?mode=crop&center=,&width=500&height=330 Alfa Romeo Giulia Veloce 2018 https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/b/b7/Alfa_Romeo_Giulia_Veloce_2018_Steering_Wheel.jpg Alfa Romeo 4C https://scontent-prg1-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.6435-9/131745316_3607895202627825_3942031051430896655_n.jpg?stp=dst-jpg Alfa Romeo Giulieta QV https://images.platforum.cloud/uploads/20181114/95a25dcf65faa247e02a256050d422c3.jpg Should i continue?
  20. As for the record: a plastic grip in a gun is lighter, allows you to make corrections, stands in human sweat better, scrach resistance and repairable if needed. A wooden grip is heavier, does not allow you to make fast corrections, needs varnish or will absorb water-human sweat, scrtaches easily, costs more and can not repaired. _______________________________________ A steering wheel like a barrel rim https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/aJ0AAOSw4xBiOggq/s-l1200.jpg is tough in feeling, slippery, you can not know immediately if you are 9 to 3 or 10 to 2 or 10 to 3 (that's why in WRC have in the middle a yellow mark), brings vibrations and fatigue in long use (traveling). A Sport steering wheel is more robust in feeling, has thumb rests and grooves so anytime (even with closed eyes) you know where your hands are, better handling and more comfortable. Yes you turn from lock to lock the barrel rim steering wheel faster but it's difficult to make precission moves in fast driving, has more trembling, in a panic move you make things much worst, you can not now immediately where your hands are. In a Sport steering wheel you can drive in Mountain roads much faster, you can make precission moves, no trembling and from 9 to 3 you can go to 10 to 2 in a fraction of a second and vice versa plus looks much better.
  21. Nothing similar, shape-thumb position-thickness-diameter-weight are different. You feel "safe" with the factory steering wheel (no airbag) and "unsafe" with an aftermarket? In case of a crash the factory will absorb the momentum of your head? @Thefeliciahacker how many times in Mountain roads you turn lock to lock and fast?
  22. @Papez have you served in the Army or have you pistol training? It has to do with the grip. The @Thefeliciahacker has not served and does not want to, i know the excuse that he used so for sure does not know.
  23. Here is how it looks today, not good photos but you can take an idea. Something must be done with a led light as background in that switch.
  24. Let me remind you that has Alcantara on it and the driver wears grippy gloves. On the other hand take a look a Felicia WRC https://www.racedandrallied.com/sites/default/files/styles/large_watermarked_1920_/public/classified-images/1715964493/p5040317.jpg.webp?itok=eEAQZ-0g another one and another Each one decides what is best for him, what suits to his style. Even my father's factory Almera has the same ''sport style'' as my after market. I use after market steering wheels for about 22 years, all of them the same style which means i have decide that the hard plastic factory does not suit to my needs and these after market help me no matter if i am in Mountain roads or Highway. WHY should i change this and must suffer every time i drive my car? WHY?
