  1. In City traffic? No way. 5.4 ltr/ 100 Km was in Highway 100+ Km speed, i always post photos as proof.
  2. I don't want to change the ENEOS synthetic 10W-40 now that i have ''broke'' my fuel consumption record in Highway and Mountain Roads plus City traffic. Every single day the ''crank ang go'' habit gives me more fuel consumption. Specification -20 'C to +70 'C Battery 2+ years old, charged at December, i have Voltage gauge in the console and shows normal indications.
  3. My previous record with 5W-40, i thought was ''the best i can do'' since the nightmare with that useless dump catastrophic 15W-50 but now with the new 10W-40 the indications day by day start lowering, 12-11,8-11,7-11,6 and now my record is this: 11,4 ltr/ 100 Km so things getting better.
  4. That day-night differences shown up when i installed the new Synthetic ENEOS. I will measure the time in future days, the bad thing in City is when you enter the car many times other car is coming beside you saying ''are you leaving?" to take the parking space so you don't have enough time for a proper warm-up. Especially at night out in the street when they see your brake lights while you are parked it's very common for a car to stand beside you and make you a gesture ''are you leaving?". Lot of cars, not enough space and you grab every opportunity. At night in the underground parking lot i haven't that problem, in the morning when i have not enough time for a proper warm-up time the fuel consumption is about 12,9 ltr/100 Km or 23.73 Uk Mpg but at night when i have time the fuel consumption at the end of the routs is 11,4 ltr/ 100Km or 24.77 Uk Mprg which is a very good result comparing with older prices. My car never liked the ''crank and go'' habit. I have OBD 11, you can scan with the key in position I but when you crank the device strops working.
  5. Yes, only with ENEOS. With other oils was the same no matter if was day or night. Yes, the sound of day Cold start is a bit "rough" for me. Generally speaking is better than previous oil, in the night is one click better than the morning, i will post photos soon.
  6. No, every day the day Cold start is different than night one. In the morning the air is colder. Out in the street (day) and in the same parking lot (underground) at night. No, clutch pressed 2-3 seconds while the engine cranks, then released (Neutral speed). Parking light On, for video only otherwise nobody could see the gauges. Different days, nonetheless every day Cold start is not the same as night's. With previous oils every Cold start was the same, for example with 15W-50 every one was rough, with Motul 10W-40 every one was like the Night (1100 rpm). Although weird phenomenon to have 2 kinds of Cold start the only positive thing is that the City fuel consumption is improved a bit but only when i wait 1 minute before i go, if i make the ''crank and go'' system then rise a bit as the old days.
  7. Here is my Cold start (Morning) and my Cold start (Night) They are not the same, many times tested and the difference is present, why? I don't know, except the temperature the density of air is different. Always the same results, a bit of ''rough'' in the morning (of course not so rough with strong vibrations as @Thefeliciahacker has) and ''softer'' with one click more revs at night.
  8. That's my Led buld light pattern, Left-Right side. _ _ I am not satisfied.
  9. @Thefeliciahacker your light pattern isn't like this but more ''focused'' in the centre, am i wrong?
  10. @nta16 In the deleted topic (we know who's responsible) you had an attachment about calatyst warm-up time in your wife's Fabia. Do you still have it?
  11. I took some pictures yesterday, my (Led bulb) light pattern is a disaster and i have to make corrections. I will post tomorrow some pictures (now i am on the smartphone) to see the "mess". Here we have some idiots which install cheap chinese from Ali-ebay Xenon-kits not only in cars but in scooters too and the result is catastrophic. Their beam aims so hi like an Anti-aircraft projector, instead of the road it aims even 2 meters higher than asphalt level and those morons think that ''i have a bright light so i can see better at night''.
  12. I will try tonight to take some photos from the pattern of my Led bulbs, would be dark in a basement.
  13. Yes but that 3000k of the stock bulbs at night is very poor. By the way when you make adjustments (up-down,left-right) on the first scale these pass automatically in the high beam and vice versa of every scale needs separate adjustment?
  14. Sergiu. I have seen some of his video, speaks like a Russian although is Romanian. https://youtu.be/X1L_aFGjmSI?si=AqesSPafy7mRP8GE
  15. I remember 20+ years ago the PIAA was the most ''famous'' (and expensine) https://www.piaa.com/store/p/49-H4-XTreme-White-Plus-Twin-Pack-Halogen-Bulbs.aspx I am not sure if were 4100K or 4000K as they sell it now but at that time was a big upgrade comparing to the stock ''yellowish'' bulbs. Some stores had the NARVA bulbs with a yellow-blue colour as ''All Weater" or ''for Rally" https://www.amazon.co.uk/Narva-Rallye-48884-H4-12-P45t-Halogen/dp/B002OQ9A72 but there was an issue with overheating and to be honest the result wasn't something ''special'', just one click better than stock but don't worth the risk.
  16. Now that he (finally) got away from this topic let's continue. https://elantrikbits.com/lotus-elan-blog/koni-rebuildable-front-shocks/ Koni Rebuildable Front Shocks (LOTUS ELAN) Driving Observations Since Front And Rear Suspension/Koni Rebuild. The S2 elan has now become a different beast to drive… for the better. No longer is there a fear when encountering rough and rutted road surfaces, the elan now handles bad road conditions with far better manners than previously, amazing really, but what a difference rebuilt shocks make, along with the installation of high quality and correct bump stops on both front and rear suspension – The ride of the car has improved out of sight, the handling has improved, the cornering ability has also been racked up several notches.
  17. John Paul Jones November 16, 1778 He wrote a letter on November 16, 1778, to Le Ray de Chaumont stating, “I wish to have no connection with any ship that does not sail fast, for I intend to go in harm's way.”
  18. I know it, i never-ever said that a Felicia with few upgrades can be a kit-car for WRC or can run in DTM style race although some cars almost ''stock'' can do better than just City driving. Remember Seat Leon 1.6 https://www.gocar.gr/news/feed/14387,Eniaio_prwta8lhma_SEAT_Leon_Eurocup.html https://el-gr.facebook.com/gkvideo-326867363606/videos/ενιαιο-seat-leon-2002/105622642795864/ Felicia isn't Atos or Vivio, with few upgrades can be more ''fun to drive'' in a Sprot style, nothing bad with this.
  19. A simple search in auto-forum of Seat-Audi-BMW-Porsche etc you will find drivers with high HP car talking about upgrades (keep in mind the car are already high powered from the factory) and no one there dares to harass them ''why you want to install this or that'' as 2 they do here. The father of Felicia was Favorit, a ''small family car'' but won in WRC. Nobody says that with few upgrades his ''civilian'' Felicia will become a kit-car Felicia but to have to give explenations because he rebuild his suspension is hilarious. On the other hand some guys still use Felicia out of asphalt https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/520304-skoda-felicia-in-gumbalkan-2022/ Do they thing had a 4x4 Jeep? No but still enjoy their car in everything they want, that's the point, the driver to be happy with what he is got. If someone thinks that everoby must have-adopt his ''grandpa style'' blaming daily all the others which drive different than him then the answer (as we say here in Greece) is: ''there is a river, dive''.
  20. I know guys which bought a much more expensive car than Felicia and still making upgrades spending tenths of thousands of euros for HP, big brakes, fancy spoilers-airwings etc and after few years again the same. I wonder why nobody is blame them? Because they have money and if you start harassing them in a forum will tell you "my car, my money so **** you". On the other hand i remember till Friday the "Skoda repair-shops" accusing the aftermarket ECU chip for everything but Monday morning they were promoting the ABT chip "it's reliable, guaranteed, no problems, will improve performance and fuel consumption" etc. If you asked for certification etc they were answering about test in Germany, Engineeres etc. Suddenly the ECU-chip was "good for Skoda" huh?
  21. Here in Greece the companies tried to pass a message to the customers (drivers) and the magazines-TV shows etc (via paid commercials-sponsors) the engineers-mechanics promote the ''German model" which is for them: ''Buy a new car, don't change nothing, go every time to the Official repair-shop to keep the Warranty, pay whatever they charge you, keep the car for 5 years and when the new model arrives sell your previous car and buy the new but with the same tactic as the older". Thus you are always under a debt (loan from bank) and always under commitment with the car company, we know this and when we hear a guy in hysteria about not making upgrades we know that somehow is related ''with the System". Here are some examples of what the official Skoda repair-shops charging to the customer: 70€ for a thermostat (NOT with plastic housing), 50€ for a coolant sensor, 250€ for a clutch, 380€ for alternator etc and every time you had a complain about the price the answer was always the same ''but its original part". WHICH is ''original''? Has the customer ever saw the part inside a white cardboard box with the stamp Skoda on it? Never ! If you ask them to give you the labels from the box to have the codes for your diary they were never provide them, all they do was to write in the service book ''change of... (the name of the part)... and the odometer note and that's it. The use whatever they wanted and charged the unsuspected customer whatever they wanted.
  22. You speak for things that you haven't lived because you were unborn. They could cancel the warranty even for the funniest thing, a set of HID bulbs and a set of aftermarket bulbs in cabin-trank for example. On the other hand they didn't accept the ECU-chip for Felicia but they were selling the ABT programme for the next models, the first was ''bad for the engine, could ruin it'' but the second was ''good with guarantee performance and low fuel consumption'' huh? The K&N filter was Bad but their unknown brand to you paper filter was Good, the were never reveal to you what oil the put in your engine and after you went all those years to them and they took the most from your money: No windshield screen, no door seals, no 5th door shocks etc, no throttle, no MAP sensor etc...Out of production and Slaaaaam the dooor in your face ! Then what? With face down you start searching for Aftermarket, yeah those products which you were laughing few years back.
  23. No aftermarket ECU-chip accepted, no subwofers (ICE), no custom exchaust manifold, no HID bulbs etc, only Skoda authorised accessories and if they didn't had what you asked simply you couldn't install it in those 2 years. If in those years you had a problem (any kind) they put automatically the blame on that and cancel the Warranty. They put any engine oil-filter, any air filter they want, you had no power on these matters. You couldn't look or check their work or decide for anything. "Come to us or you are Out" was their style and many times that lead to arguments with customers. They want to have you more "tighten" as they could to take more money as long they could.
  24. Back then we had no internet, no auto-forum, only informations by magazines or rumours. Everybody was saying that in first service in Skoda (was an obligation to go there) if they found something aftermarket they will cancel at once the Warranty. That's why nobody changed everything and let it "stock", even a bulb. After the 2nd year you could install anything you want.
