D.FYLAKTOS replied to D.FYLAKTOS's topic in Skoda Favorit, Skoda Felicia, Skoda Fun and Skoda FormanNo, everything looked normal (although many times in the morning i have seen it rised) but when i pressed the lever did half move and next time 1/3 of the move and then stopped. The weird is that when i removed the windscreen blade and put a tie wrap to see if the axis could move compleately then it did, from left to right but after further inspection saw that the thread was in his ''last time". Could not ''carry the weight" of the windscreen blade any more so i think it's the rotor too, 2 failures in 1 damage.

Due to multiple vandalism from young people in after midnight hours (those which don't go to school next morning), add a 24 years use and my Felicia has no more a wind shield wiper, the thread it's broken. Normally looks like this: Few days ago i saw that it could move properly and after i checked the bolt i found this: I will open the 5th door cover for inspection of the motor and the bracket but i am not optimist that i can fix it.

D.FYLAKTOS replied to D.FYLAKTOS's topic in Skoda Favorit, Skoda Felicia, Skoda Fun and Skoda Forman@nta16 This (small village) road here in Greece is characterized as ''abandoned" from us, the white lines have been erased (from weather conditions, age, no maintenance), has not potholes but you can not drive fast except if you are a local guy. The visitor must be careful and drive slowly although is enough space for 2 cars. Even me that i know this road don't drive ''sport'' style, yes one click faster than a visitor but of course this road is not for testing tyres-suspension etc.

Especially in summer the situation was awful, 8 cars at lest behind a heavy and slow vehicle, sweat, the car had high coolant temperature, slow speed and irritation to the maximum.

Obligation to mix gasoline with biofuels According to article 15A of Law 3054/2002, from 1.1.2019 the gasoline consumed domestically in vehicles contains pure bioethanol or bioethers produced from alcohols of biological origin. The percentage of bioethanol or alcohol of biological origin used for the production of bioethers was set at 1% for the year 2019 and 3.3% for the year 2020 and subsequent years. By decision of the Minister of Environment and Energy, this percentage can be increased after the year 2020. https://ypen.gov.gr/energeia/prasines-metafores/viokafsima/ In general, the hot climate of Greece does not help mixing gasoline with bioethanol. From what I have read, it is mandatory in Greece from 2020 onwards to mix at least 3.3%. Unfortunately I don't remember the source or if anything has changed. Second stop comparing with Holland and Germany, they have a much colder climate and mixing is much easier. Especially in summer was a nightmare, lots of accidents when drivers tried to make an overtake, now with the wider road NO accidents.

Not always, here in GR when you buy a car with no factory unit intalled the electrician always asks you: Do you want the stereo to work anytime (even when the car is Off) or only when you turn the key? Some people want to hear music while the car ir parked and engine Off, ruins a bit the battery but i some cases helps (romantic dates 💗 ).

The latest years the situation improved. Now a visitor can make an excursion without a ''traffic'' problem and a local guy can run a bit faster.

The driver's lock is the first victim of an amateur burglar, mine is destroyed thus and i wish i was remote central locking without the alarm. Now every time i want to lock my car for a while i have to go to the passenger's side or open the rear door push the drivers pin lock and close the door so all the locks are engaged.

''be nice to America or we will bring democracy to your country'' The try to destroy-ban the tobacco farms there and now everything is aboput Corn and ''climate crisis'' although those which preach about is travel with learjets, have luxury villas with tennis court, swimming pool etc. They use in Brazil ethanol many years ego but here in GR i hear nagging from some drives (with experience in tuning) about this.
