Getting a call today from the dealer to ask if I was ready to have the car serviced, I thought the service records were recorded by Skoda, yet they did not know the car was serviced a few weeks ago.

Mine varies each day, depending on where the customer is, this week has been 120 miles to Doncaster and back each day. Last week was 1100 miles Mon - Fri.

Not today, but during this week, company changing phone system and in the process swapping mobile service provider, get told on Monday "we've sent your new sim card to your home, ready for the switchover on Thursday", great idea, but I'm away until Friday evening.. Thursday comes along for the big switch over, e-mail arrives, forgot to get mobiles unlocked, so new sim won't work (still not got mine, as it's at home), everyone (40-ish people) has to go and buy a sim free mobile to get back communicating, what a complete farce.. I've still not sorted mine, I'm starting to enjoy the peace and quiet..

I get paid for my overtime, generally do 60 hrs a week, Mon - Fri, contracted to 40 hrs a week. Have already warned him he needs to have a rethink, either organise his "team builder" for during the week or start looking for some new engineers.
