1. the usual "while you're passing can you just..." always a 5min job on the phone that take a couple of hours. Did you go?
2. Getting through to the Steam Packet booking line and booking our ferry for TT2016..
3. OK, I'd say that the TPMS is faulty and needs a trip to the dealer to sort it out.
4. From the Kwik Fit website Hunter wheel alignment at Kwik FitAt Kwik Fit, we are installing Hunter wheel alignment technology in a growing number of our centres – over 400 to date. Hunter equipment is renowned for its accuracy and uses a series of high-definition imaging sensors which measure the position and orientation of the wheels with pin point precision. This ensures your wheels are accurately aligned exactly as your manufacturer intended.
5. Have you checked your tyre pressures? Have you set/reset the TPMS? What infotainment have you got? I've got Amundsen, and if I press the car button I see a picture of the car with orange tyres if the TPMS is unhappy.
6. I think someone was rushing home to get the tea on.. ">http://>
7. Took it to Kwik-Fit for two new front tyres, they refused (or leasing company did) to remove the rears, check the balance and fit rears on front to even out the wear. I've swapped them over this evening, was surprised that they have swapped the Michelin Primacy's for Michelin Pilot Sport 3's, don't think I'll be getting 32,000 miles out of these.
8. This might be a good place to start http://dvlaregistrations.direct.gov.uk/
9. Why not have a compromise and use ground reinforcing and keep the grass. http://www.ecoplasticwood.com/ground-reinforcement/
10. Fluorescent lights are supposed to be put on different phases to stop the strobe effect, but in shops it is not considered as important as in a machine workshop, where a lathe spinning at 3,000 rpm will seem to be stood still.
11. I appreciate that, but I would not be happy selling something that was only safe if you remembered to select the correct options, when those options should be selected automatically (That makes sense to me).
12. That's OK for you, but how do you make the people who buy the car after you aware of the bodged installation.
13. Does anyone else have any problems with opening the passenger door from the outside, lots of people I give lifts to seem to struggle.
14. They are standard, but they make a very loud annoying clicking noise, and are also very difficult to operate when clutching your mobile...
15. SOF 71E on a Silver VW Estate, maybe an ice cream salesman or even a Viagra dealer.
16. Had the classic mirror, signal, manoevre in the road works M1 southbound this evening ">http://
17. I would have thought that any reputable installer would be able to check the current draw on the kit they have installed, also be able to check if the charging system is capable of powering it.
18. I've had this before on a bike, had two problems, disc was out of true, and brake fluid was old, so when moving, disc rubbing on pads warmed the caliper/brake fluid, once it got warm enough the moisture in the fluid (brake fluid is hydroscopic, hence regular changing), changed to steam locking the brakes on, when cool, brakes were back to normal. New disc and a thorough fluid change solved the problem.
19. It might pay to get a garage to look at the problem, as it is a safety critical system on the car.
20. It also "crashes" into the pump once you get to zero miles left......

Hi, thanks for that, I'm technically competent, but in another field, I work with CNC machines, so work with computers and software at a reasonable level, could you give a breakdown of the parts you used to make your systems, also what dvr software do you recommend?
22. That light has nothing to do with stop/start and indicates a fault with the engine control system, it would be interesting to know the make and model of the sub, so we can check to see what load it is placing on the electrical system, although that must be below 20A, but if that is combined with other loads, then it could all be too much....
23. Would help if you said what the message said.
