You have to assign both keys to your user accounts. Can be done in Settings - Vehicle status (goes for MIB 2,5 but I guess it`s similar for MIB 3). Profile comes active for the key that is used to open the car . This is if you have Personalisation option. You can also try this, found in the Superb manual: Enable automatic storage › Unlock the vehicle with the remote control key. › Press and hold any memory button B (1, 2 or 3 buttons on memory seat). After the seat has assumed the position stored under this button, at the same time press the button  on the remote control key within 10 seconds. The successful activation of the automatic storage function for each key is confirmed by an acoustic signal.

So does mine.

And probably with major cuts, as late histiry indicates.

No, this was not Skoda Esonia, it was Skoda global. VW has different aproach, Skoda probably is trying to reduce the profit loss caused by selling cars cheaper.

MIB 2 got only one update per year and the cost for a map was around 300 euros. Of course the map was not binded to VIN so you could buy a SD card copy from ebay for 50 euros.

This is so individual. I do not like mid frequencies much. I always preferred V configuration. Means left (bass) and right (treble) are in the upper position, center (mid) at the center (0 - 2 in this case) and all the rest in linear positions between these three.

Well, little look to past: MIB 2,5 AA running, native maps always on VC AA running, native guidance running on VC with a workaround. That was until summer 2020. Then either Skoda or AA made a change in the software and now if you switch on AA maps, native maps view from VC disappears and "you have another nav running" text appears. MIB 3 Can have at least AA running and native maps on VC. That`s already progress.

But I saw. I had Skoda Sound System in my Superb. When I rceived Kodiaq, the sound was pretty lame in the beginning, Superb had better sound no doubt about it. But now Kodiaq`s Canton beats Superb`s Sound System from every angle. Easy to compare as my friend bought Superb from me an gives ma a lift from time to time.

You can swith either of these voices off. But as I travel a lot abroad,I used to have Waze and native navigation running at the same time. You cannot trust completely either of them so it was good to have alternatives.

Please try`use both navigations at the same time, would be interesting. This feature didnt work by default on MIB 2,5, but there was a simple workaround (first start car nav, then Waze, then again car nav and the both work simultaneously). But sadly, all this was killed by some smart*ass.

What you have at the moment on the VC is Android Auto turn by turn directions and native map. It might get messy and confusing sometimes as the data streams are different. I don`t believe that AA and native maps are anyhow integrated.

@AmarSirohi It`s he car`s native map on VC, not Google Maps. But still having Google Maps directions in the upper part of the VC map. Anyway this is interesting as no Skoda or Volkswagen cannot do it anymore. One more thing - can you please start navigation on Columbus and then start navigation in Google Maps. What happens then, do they work simultaneously?

You cannot see Waze on VC in any Skoda.

Getting even more interesting. You could see Google maps/Waze on headunit and the native maps on VC at the same time on MIB2,5 until last summer, when this feature was suddenly killed. Only AA navigation or native navigation at a time. When AA working on headunit, VC says "you have another nav app running" and no maps, not to mention navigation.

I have the same version. Will test tomorrow when I receive my car back from dealers.

That`s interesting. They possibly made some changes here. Only thing we don`t know which side has been preventing dual maps so far - Skoda or Android Auto. And which maps? Google Maps on both or only on headunit and native maps on VC? One interesting thing more - Android Auto is a part of Android 11 now, you don`t need separate app.

Sure you cannot trust out of the box settings, but I am saying it needs some time until speakers will be driven in.

Another random thought. As Russia lacks the online services it seems they do not have e sim installed. Now again, if someone could use some underground facilty or mountain top where is no mobile signal to try the USB update? Might be the e sim is preventing some processes.

First days the Canton seemed waste of money to me, sound was awful. But as the speakers were "driving in" step by step, so after a while it wasn`t bad at all.

According to previously attached VW update manual the drive must be formatted to NTFS. Makes no sense why not FAT, but that`s what they have put down.

Check out your cables and adapters. Skoda likes good quality, doesn`t like cheap chn crap. I guess so. Theoretical possibilty is to add some bluetooth dongle to your ipod or real possibilty is to keep your music library on the phone and use bluetooth audio.

No way. Last was MIB2.

MDI connector was an option on MIB2 (my 2014 Superb had it), but not on MIB 2,5 anymore (my 2019 Kodiaq has it).

What I meant was that in the beinning MIB3 could have an option in the menu "update software" but later it was replaced with fully automatic procedure.
