  1. My viewpoint. You've done that trip with no heavy consumers running, apart from maybe headlights and a/c. If the alternator gives you that reading under heavy load I'd expect it to be more than capable of charging the battery under a light load. As mentioned above the battery is probably on its way out.
  2. If you have the 3 button remote, the middle button unlocks the boot only. Don't leave the key in the boot as the lid locks as soon as you close it.
  3. Is cold starting affected?
  4. Unlucky. Can't remember the last time I had to replace anything to do with an exhaust system. Probably why there is no stock, no demand.
  5. Can I ask what happened to the exhaust?
  6. Put a tester on the wires at the pump end, operate the stalk and see if there is any reading. Test for output at the stalk end.
  7. I would call it a false warning because the tyre is at the correct pressure. As your mechanic has checked the wiring this only leaves the sensor which as you've been told countless times is probably at fault. Get it changed for your own and passengers safety.
  8. Did you get the abs sensors and wiring checked as suggested by MarkyG82?
  9. I'd first suggest you unlock the car with the fob and then press the central locking button in the car and see if that unlocks the boot. If it does I have a further suggestion. The button is in the row of buttons by the gear lever
  10. Which central locking button are you talking about. The one on the fob or the one in the car?
  11. Am I right in saying that if the car unlocks and the alarm doesn't go off, the programming is correct?
  12. I know that. I'm talking about the multifunction display between the rev counter and speedometer where you can bring up oil temp, fuel consumption etc. You can bring up the speed as well.
  13. I'll ask the same question I asked in an earlier post. Does the digital readout show the correct speed? If not, could be a sensor problem.

  15. No whine from mine.
  16. You need to get any fault codes read.,
  17. I think @J.R. means physically unbolt the wipers and take them off the spindles and re-adjust the position.
  18. Try a re-calibration first. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MRa6c9UfyEs
  19. I also do not hear any pump noise when unlocking.
