  1. Agree 100%. Long gone are the days of driving with the windows open with the accompanying wind noise and buffeting.
  2. It's possible you're going to get a few comments about the a/c using a lot of fuel. A lot of factors are involved. I run it all the time in auto mode with the temp set around 20-22c, with the profile set on eco mode. Does the job for me. It's never been serviced or re-gassed. Long term MPG 60+
  3. I guess even a heated screen draws little power for the same reason.
  4. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. There's no guarantee the new components wouldn't fail prematurely. If you start replacing components "just in case", where does it end?
  5. Is it a diesel? Could be doing a regen.
  6. Ok. mine has the same surround and a cover. some sort of flimsy material. Would it be just the diesels that have it?
  7. There should be a top cover for the battery as well.
  8. The old fault was that the cam and phone would power down when stop start was activated. Now with the new USB charger this doesn't happen. Try connecting the old USB charger and see if they power down when stop start is activated.
  9. When you're quite sure that this problem has been solved and everything is as it should be, plug the old USB charger in. If it is faulty as you say, then as soon as stop start kicks in the old fault should arise.
  10. OP had problems with the self levelling sensor earlier this year which he said the garage sorted out. automass, are you getting flashed at by other motorists because the headlights are too high?. If not self levelling is probably working.

  12. Even after a good run it will not read more than 80%
  13. He said it on Wednesday @ 17.27. It's the last sentence of the last paragraph.
  14. Not according to the guy at Halfords who told the OP it would only start charging after a 1 or 2 hour long drive. How can you trust a company or their employees who spout such BS.
  15. I think it's 30 Nm
  16. Try and book it into an auto electrical shop. I'd have more confidence in them than a dealer.
  17. Do a scan for error codes.
  18. If the system thinks it's got a 69Ah battery, then it's possible your 75Ah would never be charged enough.
  19. I'd check it after a day or so that it's still showing the correct details.
