can anyone advise please, i was just coming home which involved around 4 miles normal roads around 8 miles of motorway then about 4 miles normal rods home i noticed the temp needle never got up to normal temp i.e 90c only got up to about 80c which i thought was strange never had any problems with temp it always creeps up to 90c right on the middle then stays there all day long never moves just before i got home tonight obviously keeping my eye on the temp now i stopped at a shop and left it ticking over, when i got back in the car the temp had gone down to 60c drove home another 2 miles normal roads and temp only went up to 65c. the heater was blowing worm air, and no dash lights any ideas would be appreciated? cheers kev

sorry ! I haven't been on line for a bit i got a (gates cambelt and water pump kit) off ebay for £108.75 that came with new pulleys tensioner a water pump belt and all bolts, i put my car in a local indi garage to do the job they charged my £200 and that was including new anti freeze and my car washed. which i thought was pretty good. so parts and job done cost £308.75 what do you guys think? this was the kit i got ,hope this helps someone! i have now managed to start looking for a cambelt kit i was going to use eurocar parts but they only list 3 makes and none of them are (gates) to started looking on the bay problem is they all say they are made by (gates) but the price differs greatly and lots of them list the kits as being right for the (CBBB) and (CFGB) I have been advised on this thread there there may be a difference between the (CBBB) and the (CFGB) My car says it is the code (CFGB) on the sticker in the boot, floor on the edge of the spare wheel well cheers kev p.s i am looking for a kit with the (belt all pulleys and tensioners + water pump and all new bolts)

can anyone just clear this up for me, i have been pricing timing belt kits, and i am getting parts that are for my car but for engine code (CBBB) and (CFGB) do both codes get me the same timing belt kit or is one different from the other? just looked in the boot of my car and it says (CFGB) S0 do i need the particular one to my car code or would either one do? p.s the ones i have been looking at are (gates timing belt kits) on the bay and the prices are ranging from like £98+ to £140+ the same make why is there so much price differance for the same make of kit ? the reason i am asking, are some of them fake copies being sold under the gates name and are cheaper ? I don't want to get a cheap copy fitted to my car cheers kev

i got a 2013 superb estate 170bhp 6speed dsg 4x4 last year and i love it good on fuel picks her skurts up and goes when needed full leather high spec great car ! the only thing i would say is the length of of the estate is a bit deceiving when reversing into a small space or is that just me getting old lol! cheers kev

i have just been told by opie oils that they dont list any diff oil for the front i.e inside the dsg gear box? cheers kev

my car 2013 superb cr 170bhp 4x4 6speed dsg can anyone tell me how much oil is in the 6speed dsg box and a good oil at a reasonable price? how much oil is in the (back and front) differentials and recommended oil? how much oil is in the heldex plus a recommended oil? there are so many to choose from i don't know where to start! cheers kev

for the last phew days a message has been coming up on the dash every time i turn the ignition on (CHANG ENGINE OIL NOW) but i change my engine oil and all filters every 5 to 6b thousand miles, can anyone tell me how to manually turn it off please? cheers kev

i have the very same stereo as this one above can anyone tell me if i can get the ring tone on my phone to come out of the stereo speakers it all works as it should apart from ringing when i get a call. the screen on the stereo comes up with i am receiving a call but dose not ring through the stereo just through the phone its self and its not that loud and have missed a couple of calls ? cheers kev

thanks for your input ! i just contacted a seller on the bay to see if the cd dvd that he was selling was compatible with my car and he said no! the version he was selling was RNS 510 & RNS 810 Europe V17 2020/2021? COULD YOU TELL ME THE VERSION YOU USED ON YOUR CAR? CHEERS KEV
