Heres a couple of graphs that have the P-Torque software....both of these are from other Dyno's both running the P-Torque stage 1 software....one was a Dastek and the other was a Superchips dyno day.. 189bhp - 290lbs/ft 186bhp - 297lbs/ft torque (with exhaust and intercooler) but still stage 1 software

To be fair, we have had various 130PD customers pulling 180 - 186bhp on various dyno's Seeing 175 - 185bhp is perfectly normal on a well mapped 130PD

Hi Yes, all stage 1 maps are generic, although we can offer custom mapping if you have uprated your clutch/turbo etc etc However, if on the test drive or dyno there is something the customer wants changing, then of course we will do it. This has never been the case yet though, as all stage 1 maps from us are heavily tested and proven

I think this is a good post actually. I find it amazing, (and a little silly if I'm honest) that some do not question why some guy on Ebay can you tune your car for £150.00 its a joke. Think about the value of your engine and components. There are too many guys offering maps with poor equipment, (which in itself can damage an ECU) Also, many will ''shop around'' for cheap files, so they make more profit...very dangerous indeed. Stick to reputable tuners is the lesson here I think

We had a Seat Ibiza 130PD on the dyno yesterday, with a £395.00 digital box plugged in. Results were: 160bhp and 270lbs/ft with box 185bhp and 300lbs/ft with P-Torque remap. Figures aren't the main point here though, with a good remap the power is held much stronger throughout, power delivery is smoother, your MPG trip computer is still accurate. A remap done correctly changes at least 8 maps, some of which are: injection vs rpm: injection in relation to temperature: boost: injection timing (on PD's) torque limiters etc etc We do offer postal remaps, although its nice to have the car in the workshop, allowing us to test drive, and run diagnostics check before mapping, and sometimes afterwards to ensure all is well. Its also nice to have the dyno, so safe tests can be carried out off public roads

Hi Our stage 1 software is our pre-developed map designed around the stock set up. The 260/265bhp package consists of a turbo back exhaust system along with custom mapping. If you drop me an e-mail I will get the package price over to you in the morning

Thank you very much for the kind comments! The P-Torque software produces approx 235 - 245bhp, or we offer an full exhaust/remap package which offer approx 260bhp. Software only is £325.00 all in, which includes dyno power runs for members

A correctly mapped stage 1 should ensure no smoke and stay within the tolerances of the clutch. No need for customers to pay extra for custom mapping

Hi Steve I will try and answer your questions in order: 1) Yes, the vag PD's respond very well to a remap 2) Go with a reputable tuner, search this forum and others for customer reviews. 3) Yes, the turbo boost should NOT be increased much at all in a good map on this engine 4) Stage 1 software is usually fine with a healthy clutch, but changing is recommended for torque over 300lbs/ft 5) We're not in kent but we are good 6) No, this is not needed 7) You don't have to, although it is a good little mod 8) Our customers usually see improvements of 3 -5MPG on average Hope this helps

Yep, as above, without uprating the clutch, 300lbs/ft is the max. Custom mapping with an uprated clutch should easily see 180+bhp and 330+lbs/ft In my opinion, custom mapping is a waste of time without uprating the clutch on the PD diesels

You won't beat a good full exhaust system and custom remap for good value for power The P-Torque custom software paired with a full Jetex exhaust system gives approx 225bhp and 265lbs/ft torque This is £1250.00 all in including fitting and dyno print outs
