  1. You guys got the MK4 Golf over there with the same engine, I believe? So, you should have a few choices. Any of the SMF setups should be fine as long as they have a good lbft rating, you want over 250 for anything mapped, stage 2 mapped you want 300lbft to keep it safe from slipping.
  2. Come across another, in a sorry state. Asking a little too much in my eyes. Needs a fair bit doing to it. But, it's well spec'd for the people (like me) who want or, are looking for a highly spec'd version to keep. I just don't have the time to do it. Stereo is stuck on safe mode and I don't have the unlock code for it so will need replacing. I do have the keys to remove the stereo.
  3. Just pick up a 1.8T 4x4 and convert it to a vRS. There's a couple on FB now. Also, I've seen a Red one for sale the other day. Wooooo
  4. You could speak to Bowders who has/sells remapped ECU's. They come demobilised too.
  5. You absolute madman... Don't regret this. If anything, keep it and store it if you can. So many are being broken now for spares, there won't be many left! P.S. I want your rear bumper!
  6. I'll be catching up over the weekend if I can. Thanks to everyone so far.
  7. Different rules in the UK and these would be illegal. There will be no beam pattern and I'm pretty sure that'll fail an MOT (agian, in the UK). Nothing wrong with DECENT DS2 bulbs from Nightbreakers or Philips.
  8. Yeah, that’s me. I need to upload a new masked logo for safari. I’ll get it sorted out today. Thanks!
  9. No app, it just uses Apples WebKit. I don’t use android, so I have no idea how it works. And, I only enabled this last night.
  10. The longest awaited iPhone feature is here, native iOS notifications, and we couldn't wait to ensure it is enabled for BRISKODA! Briskoda.net is iPhone push notification ready (now). This means you'll finally get notifications on your phone, even when you do not have your browser open, to alert you of new content on followed items and more. A feature Android owners have enjoyed for a while... Guide Below (SAFARI ONLY) (Click Images to enlarge them) With notifications, you can have an authentic native app experience when members add our community to their phone's homepage. When you add our community to your home screen with the share button. Once it has been added, it looks and feels like a native app downloaded from the App Store. Open Safari and press the middle share icon at the bottom of the browser. And, click add to home screen. With Apple finally allowing native notifications and Briskoda.net mobile-ready UI, you can have a real app experience without needing a mobile app. Enabling Notifications Once this is added, if you wish to get push notifications, you will need to switch them on. Click on the item that has just been created to open your community (ensure you do it from the new application icon). Once there, go to the following location Menu->Bell Icon->Notification Settings At the bottom of the page, click to enable browser notifications under the "Push" section Make sure that you enabled your push notifications PER DEVICE!. Click ALLOW! Then go through what you'd like to be pushed to the phone. The one you want to set to PUSH will come up as notifications. iOS Settings Be sure to check your Notification Settings, you'll have a new app called 'BRISKODA'. And, that's it. To recap: To enable push notifications on iOS: Ensure you are using iOS 16.4 or newer Save the site to your iPhone's home screen via the share icon Enable push notifications via the option at the bottom of the notifications options page Ensure you have set some notifications to "+ Push" Make sure you haven't disabled notifications via iOS Settings globally or for the app icon if you scroll down the settings list in iOS.
  11. Awfully sorry for the late reply, I've only just come across this @BTandSid. There is another way to view the forum and filter out what interests you. We call it 'fluid'. Note: This will not mark all the other threads as 'READ'. So, you'll have to keep marking them so. If you only care about certain sections. Then this way is best. On the main forum home page - where I have highlighted, press the fluid button. You will now see it like below. On the right hand side, there will be a filter list. I have MK1 Octavia and Fabia checked. Also, you can make whole categories as read if you click on the GREEN icon next to the category title Example: [GEEEN ICON] Hellos and Goodbyes Clicking mark 'site as read' should do the whole site too.
  12. They are really trying to price us out. It's now more expensive to tax the car, than insure it.

  14. Hello and welcome to the community. I've moved this into the Octavia section, as it was posted under Fabia. Usually with a screen going pink, it's an LCD issue. It might be worth searching the site to see if other have suffered this issue.

  16. It is more mobiles as there isn't much space. I'll get the buttons added, thank you!
  17. Right, enough is enough, now. Guys, sort it out and stop annoying each other. I'm sick of the reports. Keep on topic, and remain friendly. The only warning that I'm given out.
  18. Now it's just waiting for the vrs model!
  19. If you remember any details from your old login, email, username, etc. Let me know and I'll try to sort it out for you. Welcome back.
  20. Welcome! I found the MK4 Golf Recaro in leather rather comfortable. Although, I don't like leather personally... They do them in cloth, but not sure if that's what you're using now? Cloth
