I wish the gear change indicator was larger

Thanks for the replies. Not overly impressed with the space saver supplied. Was hoping to have a tyre with the same diameter (if it fits in the wheel well) Doesn't need to be quite as wide as my road tyres.

Hi guys. Wondering if anyone knows what is the minimum size wheel that wil fit on a 2022 VRS and clear the calipers. Am thinking about trying to put a real spare tyre together.

Thanks mate

Hi guys. After some info. Curbed my alloys. 2022 Octavia RS. Wheels 19" Altair in anthracite. I'm trying to find the paint code. I think it's HA7 or LHA7 . Can anyone confirm this? Thanks

Hi mate. My 2022 RS is averaging about 7l/100km. Got 12000km's on it. Runs mainly on 95RON. Best I've got so far was 6.2km/100km's. Hope this helps.

Infotainment Problems Now Sorted?
shempy replied to nick348's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk IV (2020 > )
I'm with Southern Comfort on this one. Had two glitches where the screen froze but was fine on restart. Skoda connectivity (SOS, etc ) seems pretty well non existent in Australia. Maybe that's the reason our systems are a bit more reliable. Just thinking. -
Had my petrol RS (only sort we can get in Oz) for just on a year now .Observations electronics mostly stable (entertainment system freaked out twice. Was fine on restart) ride ,handling and comfort fine (though supplied Bridgestone tyres are pretty harsh and noisy) not impressed by fake engine noise (sorted out with OBD11) bought some alloy gear change paddle extensions (really made the car much more fun) really dumb controls for sunroof (touch control slider is not great) Overall I really like this car

What tires on vRS model in 2023/2023 on 19 inches?
shempy replied to Ctflr's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk IV (2020 > )
Hi , My 2022 RS came with Bridgestone Potenza S005. Truly awful. Coarse, noisy and unrefined. Could accept it if they handled well, but they don't. Michelin PS4 or 5 for sure next time. -
Thanks, Bought them,work well.

Hi Guys. Just wondering if anyone knows which aftermarket shift paddle extensions fit the Mk4? Coming from a 508 Peugeot which had fixed (to the steering column) paddle shifts I find all wheel mounted paddles hard to use. Extensions might help.

One click apps. I bought it direct rather than through the local Australian crooks. A fifth of the price!

Finally received my OBDeleven dongle today. After a moderate 3 hours of mucking around I got it going.Pretty typical of most things today. However it was totally worth it. Fake engine noise is gone. Bliss.

Hi Guys. Returning to the fold after 2 very frustrating Peugeot 508 years. Hope I have more luck than last time.
-
You'd think so.Trouble is it means another double whammy-lost earnings and repair bills. I've already sunk more into the car than it's worth!

Cars been smoke tested twice, both o2 sensors replaced.Looking like injectors but everybody here seems scared of touching them.I'm over this car

Well it's been 8 months, the worlds gone to **** and I still can't get this bloody car fixed.About 2 months ago EML came back on and jerking (miss) got worse. This time with erratic idle.Took it to (another) highly recommended Skoda specialist.Lots of head scratching, lots of parts replaced, lots of money gone.He suggested I take it back to Skoda Australia. So I did.Sat around all day while they looked at it.Result-please leave it with us for a few days so we can look at it again.Enough,I've already spent more than the car is probably worth. So I'm driving around with the top O2 sensor disconnected (only way it runs reasonably well)This of course means EML .I worry what damage this is doing. Not happy.
