  1. Do the suppose you want to swap the rns 510 for a Columbus? I'm wondering would the seats fit in my golf.. I'll check
  2. Nikonite

    SOLD

Stone Grey, body spot on apart from dent in drivers door and scuff on driver side rear door. Not having any luck on here at what I consider to be a giveaway price so thinking of taking off the dmf, turbo Waterpump and egr which are pretty much new to keep as spares for my bxe golf. Car has done 165k with full service history and it runs flawlessly. Everything else could go. Would anyone be interested in any of it?
  3. Taking out some parts to sell the octavia II estate highline ccm 1k0 959 433 ar (gives convenience menu in maxidot for the completionist) £50 Kufatec reverse camera module with Loom (dab box spliced into it but easily removed if needed) comes with MK2 pre fl aftermarket boot release reversing camera £100 Twin front interior light and glasses holder box (light needed for bluetooth for the mic) £20 the pair
  4. Thanks mate, I want someone on here to buy it really as listing on eBay people won't believe what I've had done and I don't want some dealer getting the benefit of all the money I have spent. It's not perfect by any means but when I sell it I will list every single fault. All used cars have them, better to know them first. This place has been a valuable source of information for me and I like the people on here. I want to get it off my drive and the money to get a Cambelt on the new car. I'm starting again with changing everything lol. I bought a 2008 mk5 golf 1.9 tdi match, pretty much the same car just less miles and smaller. Hopefully that is an indication of just how much faith I have in the bxe. All the faults I know of are: One dead glow plug, like that when I got it always starts first time with one turn if the engine When up to temperature restarting gives engine judder on startup, it's the starter motor as I changed battery and temp sensor. It's a well documented problem on here, only started after the new flywheel and it's common. Most ignore it until the starter packs up. If I didn't have a gravel drive I would have changed it It needs front left drop link , it rattles a bit over rough roads. The dents in the door always bothered me The rear screen demist doesn't work That is it, everything that's wrong with it. No other faults at all I know of, vcds shows no errors and everything works. I would drive 500 miles in it right now without even checking the oil. That's how reliable it is!
  5. I don't want to sell it sorry, I use it everyday pretty much for work. If I don't trade it I'll just live with the colour
  6. Baaa, says it can't be done after reading all that. Unless anyone knows different?
  7. I just bought a Vw so have took the Columbus out of the Octavia to fit. It's all working fine but I recall seeing somewhere it was possible to change the screen colour. Does anyone know how to do it? I can live with the green lights but red menus would be nice. Incidentally if anyone has the VW version and wants to trade I'm happy to do so?
  8. Price drop for audio and alloys removed, will come with 15" vw alloys with decent tyres. Will be selling Bluetooth, reversing camera setup, window blinds etc separately so none of that is included now.
  9. I think we are about to buy a vw and am planning on removing everything from my Octavia before selling. Would anyone happen to have the vw version and prefer the skoda?
  10. Sensible offers considered, with or without options. I do think want to sell any parts until the car is gone though sorry.
  11. I'm happy to remove bits and reduce the price as I am getting interest in some of the parts.
  12. Back up for sale, now has the reverse camera fitted . We got married yesterday and thanks to kind relatives have a bigger budget for a new car.Price is still the same. Just dne another 300 miles in it this weekend and as ever never missed a beat . now has different alloys with new tyres . you can see the crease better in this photo
  13. Try and drive a good distance in a straight line. Mine goes off after about 200 yds
  14. The 1.9pd is a highly regarded car and engine. They are capable of huge miles (ask any taxi driver) main expensive problems engine wise seem to be egr valve and Dual mass flywheel. I replaced both parts on mine (original egr and full Sachs clutch and flywheel kit) after buying the car and it has been a faultless car since. I would personally look to buy a car without these parts fitted and get them done myself for peace of mind unless the seller had bulletproof evidence of having them done. My car has done 166k never fails to start after 1 turn of the engine and I would trust it to take me anywhere without hesitation. The high miles were a real worry for a while but I am well and truly over that! Service regularly with quality oil and filters and you shouldn't go far wrong.
  15. @daveross it's in my car now, I love it as its wide front to back. I tried going back to the Octavia one and it felt flimsy in comparison. I masked off the seat badge on the airbag and sprayed it satin black. Looks fine now and all buttons work other than the infinity like circle of arrows. I am unsure of the function of that button at least.
  16. Hi @Innes, yes if your airbag is the same it would fit, it's the loom that us different. I think it's illegal to ship an airbag without declaration (they use a special container and charge a special price) I'm happy to post at cost.
  17. I bought this with the airbag as the seller wouldn't split. Ended up with 2 wheels and one airbag. Works on Octavia II. Pretty sure it's the same as the golf version. Really chunky wheels, feel so much better than the skoda versions £25 Crawley
  18. I bought the wheel here not long ago as I had an airbag and harness . Nothing wrong with it but I decided to go back to my much chunkier seat Leon wheel. £50 colletion from Crawley
  19. Here is my cheapo camera, not the quality spoken about above but adequate I'd say.
  20. There are lots but there are a few around the battery tray you could look at. Also remove the passenger side headlamp and start behind there with the small dome head type ones. I imagine like most cars there are far too many to give an exhaustive list so I would try and get a wiring diagram and concentrate on the ones linked to your problem. Sometimes its just easier to pay an auto electrician.
  21. I have that cheap Ali express boot release camera and the kufatec interface. Works but I don't think the picture is great unlike Mike's . The edges are soft
  22. I'd ordinarilly give most of this away but getting married in the 19th next month and paying for it ourselves so every little would help. Alarm interior sensor 1z0 951 171 £10 Ignition barrel with key blade £10 Standard non maxidot clocks with skc £25 1k0959433ah CCM £10 1k0 950 653 c slip ring £10 1k0 953 549 at steering controller £10 1k0 953 519 and 1k0 953 513 wiper and indicator stalks £10 Vrs red door courtesy light £5 Pair of standard interior lights £5 1k0 907 530f can gateway £10 Mfsw buttons for pre FL wheel £15 Silver knobs for heater (none climate) £5 Prices not including postage
  23. It's all working now thankfully. Was a faulty GPS receiver
