  1. Could always bridge it out and wrap it up away from the elements. If it were me tho id put the right pads in with the wear sensor, I'm a bit sad like that.
  2. Id expect to pay about £500for a new lock set labour and coding from s dealer. I would be getting your spare key recoded asap so the one they nicked won't start the car, this will cost around £70. But bear in mind they can still gain entry to the car.
  3. I had one done on my hand when I was a nipper. Don't remember any pain before or after to be honest, must be hard as **** I guess.
  4. I'd be happy with just the pipes could sort everything else my self would you use Ali.
  5. I'm also interested in the bolt sizes. I have just bought a SS intercooler off Ebay but it would seem one side uses m8 and the other an m9 thread not been able to look in to it much more as I'm away on holiday.
  6. If your anywhere near Manchester I have one you can have.
  7. Condolences to you and your family, I can't even bear to think what you are feeling.
  8. Picked up a PD150 Turbo last night that needs a rebuild and was curious if any one had used the cartridges available off ebay. They seem fairly cheap coime balanced ect but im worried about the actual quality of the item, however the feed back they have is very good (not that it means much these days) So has any one used one, did it last?
  9. I always listen to Manx radio or look at the live timings on the web when the racings on, can't wait long enough to get the results. I just want to see Guy win one tbh, bout time he pulled his finger out.
  10. I keep fishes, the Mrs wanted some, got sold some tropical fish for a cold water tank, a friend give me a heater, then the bug bit and I bought a new tank ect. My advise would be research as much as you can, I was given so much duff advice it was unreal, i would also research the fish you want to keep so you don't get sold something that's not suitable to your tank. Danios are tough lil buggers, just leave them in the tank a bit longer at first to adjust to the water. Also avoid putting chemicals such as ph buffer in your water, i made that mistake until I found out about keeping the ph stable with crushed coral. I use Timperly Aquatics most of the time, the guys in there seem to know what there on about and ones a VW nut .
  11. Thanks for the replies, looks like the vrs will be staying.
  12. http://www.silvercrossbaby.com/our-products/prams-and-pushchairs/surf-2/aubergine/ This is what we have in mind.
  13. Cheers for the feed back guys, and from what it been told you try them all out in mother care and search online to get them cheaper.
  14. Looking for some advice from the parents on here, is a fabia vrs big enough, I've not had the car long, and don't want to get rid how ever the Mrs is convinced we need a bigger car. First concern is the boot space, what Prams will fit in the boot without major dismantling, I don't want anything that needs the wheels taking off And what's it like with all the other baby stuff. I will be looking for a baby transport system - the type that has the baby seat which clips in and out and can be used as a baby seat. I did have a search but most of the stuff was from years ago. Any help and first time baby advice would be appriciated.
  15. Sounds normal to me, get a pic if you can, not seen the new skodas but if there anything like the new audis the bump stops are near on impossible to locate by hand, they will locate them selfs after a good drive.
  16. Did they crack off and undo as they should sometimes they can be a little snug in the rubber boot, I normally find if you twist and pull with the Allen key it's normally enough to pull them out. Could always use a screw driver to push them out taking care not to damage the threads. Also they don't have to be FT, torque setting is 30nm off the top of my head but double check it.
  17. They should have been removed at PDI. However techies are only human and may have forgot. Have a peer through the arch gap, and If your still unsure jack it up and take a look. The ride will also be really firm with the blocks still in.
  18. Good look, I have to wait another 6 months, let me know how it goes and if you drive a mk1 fabia what buggy fits in the boot.
  19. Let us know how you get on, my pipes are starting to wear so will be looking a replacement in the not so distant future.
  20. Have you got a group buy going on id be Interested. How many names are there now.
  21. When will these be put in to production.
  22. I may come to this if I don't do to the unphased show.
