Behaviour seems to differ between versions and countries. For me travel assist works fine and is working well with nav data, slowing down before roundabouts and crossings, shutting off engine when on ACC mode and a slope is present. I have no problems with curves and lane changes, actually I like it and is very satisfied with it. The time I can let the car drive by itself is much longer than my last Octavia III, however I did not buy it to be able to take my hands of the steering wheel...

Hi, in Sweden maps are ok (though Google is better) but I love to have the Map on the virtual dashboard. I also have sign recognintion and together with HUD it works like a charm.

Hi, back from the dealer. Huge dissapointment. They had done some research and my update was only for Clima. Update is called 90Q9 and it did not included any firmware updates, still on 1788. However since the FW 1803 seems to have the same problem with connection to Internet I have to wait.

At least in Sweden we have a one year prepaid skoda connect. So after all the trouble with no internet connection I suggested Skoda Sweden to extend the prepaid year of Skoda Connect. They have not bothered to answer. Well tomorow I´m booked in at dealer for update, will see...

Today i bouught a spraycan of white grease, sprayed the dampers and wiped of the excess, worked like a charm, no rattle, thanks for the tip @iron3k

Same here I love it, rich information and no need to move my attention in other direction than forward. Unfortunately the glass in front of the projektor seems to be greasy on the inside, this is showing when sun is in a specific angle. I will check with my dealer.

Same with mine 1.0 MHEV, so I do not think that they fit a cover on this model.

Since the car is only 2 months old it will be free of charge under the Skoda Sweden 3 year Warranty program.

I got in touch with my dealer regarding my connection problems (do not have any other problems for the moment), there is a major update registred for my car/infotainment. Booked in for upgrade on May 28. I have a D version with software 1788, however, the dealer said they never know what faults it will correct, the just do the update. Fingers crossed...

For me it´s "clonking" no squeking, did silicon grease solve that? Tried to adjust the rubber dampers but no succes at all.

Kessy comes in two flawors, half and full kessy. If you have keyless start option but no door operation you have the "half" one. However check the settings in infotainement even for full kessy it is possible to turn it off,

Where the fault is located will be interesting to know, but serverside seems realistic. Some have been helped with removing the fuses, me is an example. That resets the modules responsible for infotainment and Mobile network connection. I lost all actual my drive data but as soon I replaced the fuses it picked up the connection. All my previous data was restored (only data before I lost connection). For the moment I´m parked at a place with poor Internet connection and I do not have a connection to the car from app, will find out tomorrow if it happened again. Reported my problem to Skoda Sweden for a couple of weeks ago but no answer from them.

No Joke, check if the "Globe icon" in the botton of screen is grey, if so... It was enough to remove the fuses for 5 minutes (wich ones shows in another thread). I lost current statistics for travel data but everything works again.

This option is made to show your own pictures which you can load from a USB stick. You can choose to view something else in the left dial through settings.

Yes, same for me when the car was new in march this year. After I repeatedly entered the homeadress a couple of times and syncronised the settings under the user menu, it suddenly remembered it and it have remebered since then. Now I won´t touch it again in case that I screw something up

Hi, feel free to return to dealer, but first I should at least try a reset with long press of on/off button. As with any computer, boot before contacting support

Probable not the same problem as what you have but my own "virtual pedal" or "easy open" setting in infotainemnt do not have the same on/off slider as other settings, instead it will deaktivate if you click on the text. The text is green when activated and grey when deactivated. I found this out when I clicked on it to se if there was an submenu. Very missleading, but my misstake.

Hi, as u can see in my earlier thread from today I also had exactly the same problem with Skoda connect "function unavailable" and app not getting car data. Its been like this for 8 days now but for a couple of days I contacted Skoda Sweden which sent a report to the factory. This afternoon I got an e-mail from Skoda Connect services telling me that they have deactivated the connect services and I could now reconnect from the infotainment. However there was no need to reconnect, everything worked fine when i went to the car! Tried the app also and its working fine now. This fault could be solved from some administration site for Skoda Connect apparently. No need to factory reseteting infotainment. Will se for how long time it will work now...

With 4 weeks with just a few glitches in my new 2021 Octavia I have lost connection to Skoda Connect for a full week and still counting. Every time I want to take a ride it cannot load the settings and I am stuck with the "Guest" account. Only message is that "This function is unavailable for the moment". No other problems/errors though. My skoda app also stopped uppdating with car data at the same time. I do not want to do a factory reset before Skoda Sweden have responded, but the question is how long that will take, "We have sent your report to the factory". So even with hardware revison "D" and software 1788 there is problems. Anyone with the similar problems, what did you do?

Hi, I have mine for 10 days and experienced some problems with saving preferences in the navigation. However this seems to have been improved now. For now my homeadress is still there, was lost a couple of times first. I´m not sure what helped me but I went in the settings for "Users" and did a manual syncronization a couple of times after making changes.

Works fine for me. We use both Apple Carplay with Iphone 12 and Android auto on samsung S20 both shows album art from Spotify on the Columbus infotainment and in the instrument if you choose that.
