  1. this is a Mark 2 pre-facelift, the FL ran from 09-12
  2. It never ends dude! considered an oval chainring ?
  3. I wouldn't recommend anyone use a screwdriver to force it off, you may have got away with it, but i've seen plenty of others who have made a royal mess of it! @Noms I brought a can of desolvit- sticky stuff remover (you can get it from tesco/amazon etc.) this destroys the adhesive bond and after spraying on and leaving for a few mins you can pull the badges off by hand, a bit of floss in a sawing action helps to get behind the badges.
  4. most policies that have a windscreen excess shouldn't affect your premium or ncb but always best to check with your insurance provider
  5. happy for you dude, looks good
  6. Normally bang on but they will just appear on the website and can sometimes disappear just as quick, the emails can be a few hours behind, so by the time they inform you they might be already gone. comparing the two bikes for ~300eur difference you're getting a worse fork loosing the dropper post going to 10 speed brakes are roughly the same everything else is the same I think the VR is the better buy imo
  7. personally that's a cracking bike for the price
  8. I did not spot heated seats or front sensors on it
  9. might not be everyone's cup of tea, but i had a abarth spider on holiday it was tremendous fun and sounded great 2018 Black Abarth 124 Spider 1.4 MultiAir Spider Auto 2dr for sale for £19250 in Petworth, West Sussex (autotrader.co.uk)
  10. thanks, I'll go and have a look at my screen later I keep putting off changing my screen for exactly the reasons listed above also, but the scratches and pepper rash is quite evident now in the sun
  11. interesting, did you go through your insurance and pay the excess (if necessary) and if so what was the extra cost? how do you know it's a genuine replacement?
  12. is this received within 14 days or just issued within 14 days of the offence
  13. I remember that episode.. it still flashed, but on the second photo the car was no longer there
  14. what condition are the current disk and pads in? when was it last fluid changed and bled this can make a massive difference, FWIW I'm running pagid discs and pads with a recent fluid change, my cars remapped and stops quick.. very quick if needed, so std kit shouldn't be a problem. I'd stay away from drilled discs they can crack around the holes, C/J hook are a decent upgrade if you do end up going down that route.
  15. looks lovely, hopefully one of those leads you to a pub
  16. totally agree re; bottom bracket my first one creaked after 400 miles and had to be replaced can't change to a threaded due to frame stiffening in BB so i'd go threaded if you can, but there getting harder to find on lower spec bikes. one thing to consider is do you really need + sized tyres as the trek is running 40mm rims with 2.8 they do feel quite heavy and if you're doing a lot of climbing could be quite noticeable over say a 2.4 with a i30 rim also if go with the i40 you're kinda stuck using +sized tyres
  17. had a blast a Cannock and hit a lot of the stuff I missed out last time (black sections) missed the first boardwalk as I was going too fast and didn't want to turn round. struggled with the skinny feature at let loose(pictured), ain't gonna lie .. this took me a good 4 goes to get it without stopping but happy I nailed the following rock garden after it. I won't post I time up as we stopped many times especially up cardiac hill (think the new guy found this particularly tough) and I didn't stop my watch each time.(doesn't auto pause) only did the dog as I think the monkey was beyond him(pictured deciding if to do monkey too) i'll be back there soon!!
  18. bike all cleaned, lubed etc. and running nice for tomorrow. got a couple lads coming with me one who's a complete novice on a brand new bike so see how that goes.
  19. looks awesome, hope you've got showers at work if this is mostly your cycling then 100% a hard tail personally i'd be going for a i30 rim with 2.4-2.5 tyre
  20. or don't do this
  21. ah nice one they look like they're coming on well , I'll see how our day takes us, might end that way. Will be heading over Sunday morning
  22. Grand Canyon 7 | CANYON GB should be released in a month or so, half decent specs Grand Canyon 8 | CANYON GB this has a similar drive side as my bike Nukeproof Scout 290 Race Hardtail Mountain Bike 2021 Blue (rutlandcycling.com) i've got some nukeprof stuff and been impressed with the quality so i'd assume the bikes will be the same Ragley Marley 1.0 2021 Mountain Bike Yellow (rutlandcycling.com)
  23. yep totally right to go back and get this sorted - if they can't do it properly demand a refund as this is far from professional
  24. chuck some ground flax seed or glitter in the mix that helps seal larger holes too. I should be around Cannock chase this weekend
