  6. yes what are you planning on buying? they have advised me they are not shipping anything that's large of heavy to the uk, due to Brexit apparently. think you should be ok with badges etc. but worth contacting them before placing an order
  7. bit of an update, RARB on medium setting is awesome! pretty much eliminated body roll, now the weathers getting warm I'll give it a go on hard setting I've noticed a rattle from the rear end of the car sounds like a loose heat shield (possibly disturbed when fitting RARB) so hoping just a star washer fix. need to get back under it to check all the bolts are still correctly torqued anyway. I'll give a wire brush and waxoyl whilst I'm there too.
  8. I didn't think the 2.0 tdi was suitable for SMF conversion.. but yes, you will notice some more vibrations compared to the dual mass. you can check the diaphragm on the ASV to see if it's split
  9. good work dude, i'll be heading to cannock for my 2nd time towards the end of May, see if I can do the full dog+monkey trail this time
  10. if it shudders to a halt or bang on engine shut down could point to issues in the anti shudder valve or DMF starting to age
  11. i'd be up for a meet too
  12. so the leather I was would use a dedicated leather cleaner, angle wax, Lord Sheraton Leather Balsam are some of my favourites, tape up or don't get it on the stitching. the grey part is alcantara, a soft long bristle brush with low foaming cleaner, Total interior by auto finesse is good, light spray and brush back and forth, wipe of with micro fibre and hover dry/separate fibres. the cloth part, nothing beats a wetvac here but the above method will get it clean too
  13. rarb on deffo needs a wire brush and paint under there but that's a job for another day! enough rolling on the floor for today

  19. not sure what car you have but if it's a TDI possibly it's doing a regen as some people report hot burning rubber smell.
  20. I used a desolve it spray starting at the top, left it for a few mins and then used dental floss in a sawing motion and it'll come off clean. clean and polish the paint before refitting. altho I'd get the paint damage sorted before refitting
