To the OP, are you sure the pressure gauge you are using is accurate? That's a high pressure for a car tyre

Silver metallic 2.0TDi Combi Style picked up yesterday. Worth the wait! Extras/options include - Xenons, rear airbags, FA, heated windscreen and front seats, sunset glass, folding auto dimming door mirrors, 16" full size spare wheel, rear camera, PDC front and rear, LED rear lights, kessy, 17" Terons, colour Maxidot & 3-spoke flat bottomed MFSW.

Ordered some stuff just last night from Skodadop so I'm interested to read people's thoughts on them too. Their prices are very competitive.

Best of luck with both new arrivals. Our 2.0TDi Combi Style, ordered 28th Oct & build week 5, arrived at the dealer today. We will hopefully collect before the weekend. It was cutting it a bit tight as we have a new arrival due in exactly a month!

I've had this happen on BMW wheel centre caps too. They don't salt the roads over here all that often so I doubt it's road salt alone, but it certainly won't help the situation.

Build week 5 and a 2.0TDi Style Combi with quite a few extras (xenons, kessy, heated windscreen & front seats, dimming door mirrors, PDC front & rear, rear airbags and a few more, along with the standard style spec items here)

I had a call from the dealer yesterday, our car is on the boat and will land in Dublin tomorrow the 18th. It should be less than a week to the dealer from then. Looking forward to it now, it's been a long wait (ordered 28th Oct).

Ok I know I've taken this off topic mentioning about OEM number plate LEDs but just a quick update. The 2 pair I ordered from carsystems showed up today and they look perfect, complete with VW emblem on them. All I'm missing now is a car to install them in.

Speaking to my dealer last week for an update on our wk5 build 2.0TDi Style combi I was told that there are ships sailing from Emden on the 13th and 18th so it could be on either.

Whoa, that's a long wait! Did you spec many extras for it to take that long?

@SteveB - I totally agree with you. It absolutely boils my p!ss when I see people with fog lights switched on when it's not foggy, especially in the rain. I give them a dose of full beam too. Why I'm personally interested in these is for cornering lights and for coming home lights.

I went ahead and ordered an OEM pair for the Octavia and for my parent's new Golf HL from car systems (link above). They're in the post already. Will post some pics when I get them fitted and recoded.

They look brilliant FE. I'd seen those on Powerbulbs and was wondering how they'd be in use. I did baulk at the price though! They look almost as bright as the xenons. Any chance of the link where you got them from please?

You could get the OEM LED unit and recode using VCDS http://www.carsystems.pl/license-plate-led-3af943021a-x2,id366.html I've never used the above company but I plan to do so.

Yep, supposed to be build week 5 next week (ordered on 28/Oct). I'm guessing it'll be 3-4wks before it gets to Ireland. Dealer said to call them back on 8/Feb for an update, they'll know more on shipping then they said.

I've used Sonax windscreen washer stuff as I've found it to be very good, admitedly that's the summer stuff. They do a winter xtreme version that I've ordered so waiting to try it out. It's good from -10 down to -30, which we won't need over here, depending on dilution. Have tried Aldi stuff but didn't find it great at cleaning.

I'd guess, given that this guy is in Norway, they're his winter wheels. I think they might be Dezent rims.

I've used Würth active glass cleaner for a few years and IME it's better than anything else I've used before including a lot of what's been mentioned and some others. One downside, it's not that cheap. Merry Christmas.

That does look great although the 19's can't be the most comfortable on broken road surfaces.

Ordered mine the following day but it won't be here until the end of Feb, start of Mar at last update.

I placed an order for a 2.0TDi style combi with a lot of extras the last week of October. I had initially been given a wk51 build date, so delivery mid Jan, I've just been on to the dealer for an update. It's now expected to be built in wk5 with delivery last week of Feb or 1st week of March. That's 17-18 weeks from order. Gutted that it's going to take this long.
