i forget about it because it's my "automatic" habit from previous cars before leave car, while keeping brake pedal pressed, move lever to P, activate handbrake, release brake pedal

Auto Hold lets leave brake pedal on longer reds, but gives this annoying knocking without Auto Hold car will start move on leave brake pedal, to prevent that, i move DSG lever D->N as additional benefit, load to engine decreases and consumption drops from 1.5-1.9 to 0.8-1.1 l/h

+1 exactly the same experience "solved" by disable Auto Hold, to release brake pedal I move DSG lever to 'N'
