  1. Audi TT Caressa wheels .. 17x7,5, ET38 Cheers B
  2. don't think we're speaking of the same budget though ;-)
  3. indeed italian and german replica's are good quality... I already made a pictune which looks very nice but I would still like to see it irl before spending money cheers B
  4. @ silver rocket: I agree but this shouldn't stop anyone of putting on a nice wheel... otherwise 99% of the population would drive around with plastic wheelcaps @ Fitz323: a lot of people are running 18" with 90hp... It's my "sunday" car now since I got a company car so I don't do a lot of mileage and I intend to keep the wheel diameter the same by using the correct tyre size cheers B
  5. a lot of people I know have bought replica's and they've never had issues with them... normally tyre-shops should be able to tell you which replica brands are fine and which aren't... the originals will never fit an Octi because they are 5x112 so you'll need spacers which would bring the wheels too much out of the arches... I am just wondering if someone has these already because I would like to see them on an standard (not lowered) octavia before buying them... cheers B
  6. Hi Guys, I'm thinking of buying 18" S8 replica wheels, anyone got these under their octi? these ones I mean: Cheers B
  7. no spoilers for me and my 90hp car thx took some new pics today, car is dirty though I still like the wheels but sometimes I get an urge to go for 18"... thank God I'm building a house currently so I don't have the money to spend Cheers B
  8. makes sence now :-) sorry I'm from Belgium so not really familiar with english automotive abbreviatons anybody any idea what would be the best option/brand HRW-antenna-module-thingy for my octi? cheers berre @ jonnycatbiscuit : thx
  9. HRW? excuse my ignorance but can you point me in the right direction please? Website or brand or something will do... thx cheers b
  10. second that... works better then all prof. products available... remember to wash with clear water (lots) immediatly afterwards! cheers b
  11. that would be great... I thought it existed for VW as well (maybe compatible with octavia's) but I'm not sure...
  12. don't like spoilers mate... don't think they would help to keep my "sporty" 90hp on the road cheers B
  13. yep mine too but it came off way to easy... the 30mm antenna is attached much better but reception is still crappy... anybody any ideas is there exist antenna's that you can hide under the dashboard. I heard it existed for VW but I don't have any partnumbers... cheers B
  14. here you go... 17" audi TT caressa wheels night-shot: Must admit that the wheels look better irl... in the pictures I also had a lot of junk in my trunk so my car looks a bit heavy on the backside Here's another pic without junk, you'll notice that the car looks lower in the front which is off course how it should be If I would do it again I would go for a slightly lower profile then the 225/45 but I bought these wheels secondhand with tyres on so had no choice Imho 17" looks great enough on an octi if you have spokes going all the way to the side... cup-wheels might appear a bit small I think. cheers B
  15. OK the S2000 aerial wasn't working for me... for some reason it comes off when I give it a slight tap so I would definitely lose it in a carwash Gots me something else then: 30mm antenna crappy GSM pic in the rain but you get the idea: Looks great imho (strange how an antenna changes the appearance of the car) but the reception isn't all that. I expected this though and am willing to live with it since I use the octi only a couple of times a week (got a company car) What do you think? Cheers Berre
  16. fishing wire indeed is what I did on mine... after that I welded the holes, sanded and had the trunk repainted... looking much better imho
  17. My black octi with 17" Audi TT Caressa wheels: cheers B *edit* just saw you wanted "larger" wheels... my bad
  18. same problem here, and also a lot of Golf IV and Bora's have this problem... solution: just higher/lower the seat a bit and the creak is gone for a couple of days (at least with me it is) Cheers B
  19. really thinking of buying these now... blowing off the dust on this topic... anyone got these? http://milotec.de/images/product_images/popup_images/1685_0.jpg cheers
  20. some better pics taken today: night-shot: Cheers B
  21. yeah it fits... but if I hit a fly with it on the motorway it's gone... I already pushed very hard and tried very long cheers B
