Is millers snake oil cos I've put a bottle full in (not in one go that wud be silly) and noticed no difference. Lots of other idiots like me have noticed no difference.

Thats what I thought at such a concentration.... Does anyone know the ingredients of millers ??? Also it has been mentioned that diesel and 2 stroke emulsify does anyone know what effect this has on the 2 stroke or the diesel.

Once you have done your disc and pads....you will not believe why some garages charge a shocking amount to do them.

You cant prove it and neither can they. But as terms and conditions of any warranty you modified the intake which part of the turbo system. So intake, maf, turbo, intercooler etc etc have no warranty on your car. I'm afraid thats the downside of modifications outside manufacturer spec.

But you will happily stick millers and other cleaning agents in ????

What oil does it make crack...diesel or engine oil ??

I dont know whether its true either... But there have people using over a few years with no problems. And it seems more popular in germany/austria way. I also found out Cummins authorizes up to 5% of WEO (waste engine oil) to be blended into diesel fuel. I wouldn't put 1/2 teaspoon full in 3 billion gallons of diesel going in my car. Does that mean they allow dirty sooty oil into the diesel....now that would appear to be snake oil but its not.

Got any links to back up your info moggy ?? Is biodiesel ....known to be bad for pd's classed as a additive ??? But is allowed. (it lubricates and cleans that in my book is an additive. This is essentially what 2 stroke is apparently doing...although 1/4 of the strength. Don't the Vag group use a injector cleaner in the service pack.forte. (maybe vw only) An additive which cleans injectors. I think its a very complicated business.

As long as the cheapo stuff has a low ash content.......it will be fine.

Yeah I thought of this too and thought also what you have. The air from the air filter end would not have enough pressure. This would cause a boost pressure loss near the egr. I suppose it depends how much pressure those egr exhaust gasses come out at.

So with the smf fitted after having a dmf (not with the knocking noise) can you tell the difference....i.e noise ...bite...vibration.

I'd unplug the maf then see if there is any difference...
