Is it possible to make ambient lighting more brighter? Really could be little more brighter than standard maximum setting.

I’ve been using 1941 for a week now. Not a single glitch, bug or restart after updating. That manual failure came like for 2-3 days and then came a message that manual update succesful. So people who have manual failure, no worries it will sort itself in a few days. I had the 19XX (I don’t remember two last numbers) version before update and 1941 will make the infotainment a bit faster and more responsive too. Found a picture of mine. On the right side lot’s of fog and water. Fogging is normal but water is not. I had nothing on the other side. Maybe they change these in pairs who knows. I am getting impression that the dealer’s are handling warranty issues really differently depending on which country you live in. That is strange if you ask me. vRS I own now is my fourth Škoda and had 3 Fabias since 2015. I’ve had many issues with those but everything has been handled well under warranty without any hesitation from the dealer. If you have something broken or other problem and car has warranty left it should be fixed no matter where you live.

I had condensation inside the right side light. Looked just like in Hairy_Joe’s photo. All I know they checked the lights and then asked permission from somewhere factory/importer etc. When i went to collect the car both sides were changed under warranty.

I had condensation too in my vRS’s matrix headlights. Both sides changed for new ones under warranty one month ago. I really have to thank how things work with my dealer here in Finland.

I have 17” LYRA wheels with Continental ContiVikingContact 205/50/17” tyres. Tbh they don’t look too small. Car is vRS TDI 4x4.

When we walked to the dealer from the parking lot we walked past beautiful Steel Grey Octavia vRS Combi. Steel Grey was THE ONLY color me and especially my wife wanted because it’s just soooo cool color and our Fabia 1.0TSI DSG Monte Carlo Combi we traded in was Steel Grey and we both loved it. Our plan was to order FWD TDI vRS Combi without almost any extras. We walked to the salesman an he said THE COLOR is discontinued! Aaargh. I was thinking maybe that new green or white. So we then asked is that new Octavia vRS outside sold. And salesman said no. Well turned out it was Octavia Combi vRS TDI 4x4 with almost asl extras but pano roof. It was the only one that color in Finland left. I was oh ****e that is expensive model… So I said to my wife and salesman that I have to go walk around other cars and think about it. When I came back my wife just said to me ”honey we already made the paperwork and I signed, It’s ours and we get in 5 days!”😁 ps. That Steel Grey color cost us 14K€🤣 pps. On the drive home I asked my wife what happened. She said ”Have you forgot, If I go to buy car I don’t want to wait months and months I want it now and I wanted Steel Grey no matter what, I don’t care how much it costs if I want it and If I want something I will always get it!” I was like okay…women😁I have to admit 4x4 is very useful in Finnish snowy winter and it’s a great car to drive😊We both love it.

I got this brand new Steel Grey beauty on Friday. vRS TDI 4x4 Combi I’ts a bit more powerful than my previous Fabia 1.0 TSI 110 DSG Combi also in Steel Grey… I went to dealership to order FWD vRS TDI on Monday. Salesman said delivery time for FWD vRS TDI here in Finland is 4months. Too long for a ADHD person like me. So bought this from the dealership floor. Yes, this 4x4 with lot’s of extras was waaaay more expensive but we only live once

Ooops! I mean’t GARMIN not Kenwood. My bad.😁 Updating the Garmin unit to latest version will correct this issue that you have.

I think your problem has something to do with this: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/GPS_Week_Number_Rollover If Kenwood won’t release update/patch for your unit, I think it’s not possible to get it work properly.

Skoda Fabia 1.2TSI DSG Monte Estate -17. Clutch pack changed after 10kKm under warranty. Was slipping a lot. After new clutch pack everything worked OK. Now I have FL Monte Estate 1.0TSI DSG. No slipping yet. Very pleased with Finnish dealer, every problem has been solved under warranty.

Hello! This is my first post here. I’m from Finland and I had exactly same problem with my Fabia Monte Combi 2017 driver side seal. Went to local Skoda dealer and the seal was changed under warranty no questions asked.
