  1. It tried this the other day and it wouldn't lock with the engine running
  2. Thanks guys, well I guess ali78 put an end to my annoyance  Cheers
  3. Well that is strange and also nice to know I'm not the only one Would be nice to know what they are though.
  4. Hi, Had my VRS since May and I'm still loving it but after a fortnight or so I noticed these spots on the rear window, I thought they'd come off when I gave the glass a clean inside and out but this hasn't made a difference. Its only a little niggle hence why I've not took it to the dealer, its only annoys me when I spot them in the rear view The thing is some days you can't see them, not sure why but may have something to do with the factory sunset glass and the daylight. In certain light they seem to disappear so I don't always see them in the rear view and from outside. Anyone come across this issue? Cheers Luke
  5. I was going to say snakes pass lol try the cat and fiddle, even though the pub has closed its still a nice ride but does have average speed cameras https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cat_and_Fiddle_Road
  6. Nice bike VRS Mike. What is it costing you a month on your salary sacrifice ? Thinking of asking my employer to set this up.
  7. Apparently your dealer can get a unlock code but it will cost you £150.
  8. How does the cycle to work scheme work? Do you loan the bike?
  9. Great mods so far The driver seat is something I really want to change, I always feel like I'm slipping out of it even driving at normal speed, much prefer my father inlaws new GTI seats.
  10. so is it a long term thing then? If you stop using them what is the likly outcome? What is the process to taking them? Can you tell I have no clue about using them
  11. cheers for the advice Johnny. Have you ever taken steds? If so what your experience with them, pros/cons, They have never been something I've wanted to take but like to know the facts and myths about them.
  12. Yeah I have some from TPW that I top up with if needed. I feel fine when training once I'm warmed up but nackard all day, some days I'm dreading the gym even when its only in my garden. I'm in bed 10-10:30 and asleep by 11 every night but I'm up at 530 and have 3 little ones so most nights one gets in the bed waking me up .
  13. Putting the chicken breast in the oven as soon as I type this. Would you change the other macros?
  14. When I start tracking my macros they are normally around 60F 200C 180P and i lose around 0.5 kg a week but at the moment I'm on around 50F 180C 90P. "attributed to losing muscle whilst dieting too hard to make weight. Which in turn makes it difficult to lose fat." Can you explain why losing muscle makes it harder to loses fat? Cheers
  15. Yeah I use MFP to track cals when dropping the weight. When running up to a fight its mainly pad/bag work and sparing with a bit of weights and conditioning (tyre flipping etc). Otherwise its bag work and weight lifting in my home gym/shed No clue on current BF% but I'm skinny at 83kg
  16. I've trained for years on and off with many years in muay thai but no matter how much I trained and weight I'd drop I have never had a visible six pack. Have you any advice on gaining this? Currently I'm 102kg( 6'2 )but I will drop down to 83kg before Christmas for a fight, at this weight I always feel fit and light but way to skinny and my lifting strength is weak, do you have any advice on keeping strength when losing weight. cheers
  17. I added the following to my TSI VRS manual Folding mirrors (you can add without electric seats) Full leather Black design pack Winter pack (seats/windscreeen) sunset glass smart link. Kessy I'm happy with everything I went for and only wish I'd added the 19 inch extremes as the looks has grown on me. I think KESSY is super cool and a must have, smart link is good as google maps kick the built in sat navs arse but I think it should be free on the VRS considering its free in the fabia. I do somtime wish I had the DSG when I'm in traffic but my mind changes when I'm rallying around the country side :sun:
  18. Terror is terror, whats makes you any better then isis suggesting we start bombing innocent people, normal civilians, mums, dads, hardworking people. Its thinking like that that's got us where we are now. Lets start bombing France and Germany, they seem to have a large amount of isis cells in their country, where does it end
  19. I had the same experience, Monday I had a great sleep and was really comfy when I woke up then last night I was sweating my balls off. I was completely starkers without the duvet with all windows open but still woke up several times and to add to it I had my little ones all trying to get in our bed as they couldn't sleep either making me even hotter. I got in the shower at 5am instead of 6 as I couldn't take it anymore. Likewise I have a fan but can't sleep with the noise.
  20. Google maps are the best there is IMO. I have sat nav on my VRS but never use it as google maps are far superior. You get up to date traffic info and it will always send you on the fastest route plus you don't need to type anything, just press the microphone button and tell it where you need to go.
  21. I use android auto and I have a Nexus 6p, great phone and the screens massive
