  1. Does it happen when you brake going forward for the first time after you have braked going backwards? Especially if you backed in to a parking space, braked, and then parked up for a while? And vice versa? This can be the brake pads moving in the calipers. The original pads can have a self adhesive backing on them that helps to stop this. The new set of pads might not have this adhesive but have been greased up. Thanks, AG Falco
  2. You can print out what you post. You cannot print out what you didn't post. Skoda can print out everything. Invoices for work done /parts listed with all the details are better than just a stamped service book. Thanks, AG Falco
  3. Yes, we did more batteries after lockdown than during the previous winter. All through lack of use. Thanks, AG Falco
  4. You can see what you have posted. Skoda can see everything that has been posted. You can ask Skoda to print out a copy for you. There is very little detail on the print out though. Yes. Yes. Unless you use it regularly it is not easy to work out the first time. Thanks AG Falco
  5. There is a date limit of about 10 days that you can go back to. You can use the date as the order number if you could not do it within the time frame. You will also have the parts invoice to back this up with. Thanks, AG Falco
  6. SOC looks good, just SOH down. The testers I use regularly display figures that don't make sense. We normally recharge and retest the battery again. Have you tried to charge the battery with a 'smart' charger? Also with the Fabia you don't connect the negative lead to the battery but to a separate place in the inner wing. Thanks, AG Falco
  7. I presume you have the battery tester set to the right type of battery. AGM EGB or normal lead acid? On a car with stop/start the car should not recharge the battery to 100%. Thanks, AG Falco
  8. Register on ERWIN and go to the electronic service record part. Thanks, AG Falco
  9. No, but if you want peace of mind then take them out and inspect / clean them. Thanks, AG Falco
  10. On a twin rear wheel van the inner wheels are fitted the other way round. So two tyres need to be fitted the other way round to the other four tyres on the vehicle. Thanks, AG Falco
  11. These are called sided tyres. There is a left hand side and a right hand side tread pattern. Very very few tyres are like this. Thanks, AG Falco
  12. 5th small oil and filter service now done at 46,500 miles and second MOT. Updated the service record on ERWIN again. All still good. Thanks, AG Falco
  13. Air filter is listed at every 60,000 miles. You need to remove the air filter to do the spark plugs. I did both at my 4th service at 37,500 miles. Both old spark plugs and air filter were clean but I still changed them. Thanks, AG Falco
  14. The car has an anti stall mode which will automatically increase the engine revs when you first lift the clutch pedal up. This is without anybody touching the throttle pedal. It only lasts for a second or two. It can take some getting used to. I use it to my advantage by not using the throttle when first starting. This does need some good clutch control though. Thanks, AG Falco
  15. Is this just when you start from standstill? 90 or 110 maybe? Thanks, AG Falco
  16. Info here:- https://caristaapp.com/ and here:- https://www.amazon.co.uk/Carista-Bluetooth-Adapter-Scanner-Technology/dp/B00YVHGTBM Thanks, AG Falco
  17. https://www.jepsonandco.com/ready-made-plates/vintage-classic-plates/ Not quite what you want? Or this:- https://www.jepsonandco.com/ready-made-plates/showroom-plates/ Thanks, AG Falco
  18. Good choice. I have been running Vredestein Quatrac as my winter tyres for years. Always good for me. Thanks, AG Falco
  19. All sizes? Thanks , AG Falco
  20. I think if you press for a long time it activates google voice control, so long as you have data on and a good signal. Thanks, AG Falco
  21. No it shouldn't . Thanks, AG Falco
  22. Get your partner to lock the car using the button on the dash. Thanks, AG Falco
  23. Already exist, we did suggest that to the owner. At that price there is a market. Car passed the MOT today, but we noticed the other headlight side/DLR light flickering. Thanks, AG Falco
