  1. I both Judge images mainly for Camera Clubs and teach people to become Photography Judges. Thanks, AG Falco
  2. Yes, a normal battery in a car with stop start will only last a few months. They can't take the higher charging voltage. Thanks, AG Falco
  3. If it is stop start, have you bought the correct battery? AGM or EFB. £56.00 is too cheap for one. Thanks, AG Falco
  4. Is this on a Fabia II 2015 or a Fabia III 2015 with stop/start? Thanks, AG Falco
  5. Is this a Starting problem then? Although 15000 miles in 5 years would indicate low usage which can result in a low battery. Thanks, AG Falco
  6. No problem, glad I can help. I probably have an advantage as I look at / judge many photos. Thanks, AG Falco
  7. What did I win?? Thanks, AG Falco
  8. I think you have a Skoda Fabia II if it is a 2013. I have known of a battery to die after 6 months on a brand new car due to lack of use. We have had many cars with battery flat problems this year at work. So, Yes charge it ( with a Smart Charger ) . Thanks, AG Falco
  9. So long a they are not directional I would always try swapping them from side to side, or even diagonally. I rotate my tyres twice a year and go for new tyres to the rear and the old rears going diagonally to the front. Thanks, AG Falco
  10. Shadow line from the flash. Thanks. AG Falco
  11. Yes, I use them as my winter tyres down here in the south, and also have a full sized spare which also gets used/rotated. Last big amount of snow we had down here I drove in to snow deep enough to lift the front of the car off the ground, stopping forward motion. Just turned the wheels sideways and reversed out. The same day I had a Range Rover try to keep up with me on my way home from work. He ended going up a grass bank after one corner. He only had summer tyres on the car. A 4x4 will help you go but don't help you stop or turn as he found out. Thanks. AG Falco
  12. And you can swap the Vredestein Quatrac5 's from side to side to stop the sawtooth inner edge appearing and creating a noise. Thanks, AG Falco
  13. You can also plug a battery in through the OBDII port to supply power to the battery/car. eg:- https://www.ebay.co.uk/i/154011818178?chn=ps&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=710-134428-41853-0&mkcid=2&itemid=154011818178&targetid=1065995239677&device=c&mktype=pla&googleloc=9045682&poi=&campaignid=10204071591&mkgroupid=104953044434&rlsatarget=aud-381667280803:pla-1065995239677&abcId=1145987&merchantid=110256524&gclid=Cj0KCQiAqo3-BRDoARIsAE5vnaJg7HQmk80HwEWvgyc-bH0JyKvMNcYvO1i4TcNbSIaq6Gw9um0VRTgaAkODEALw_wcB Thanks, AG Falco
  14. Broken wire in the wiring loom from the body to the Passenger door in the door hinge area? Passenger Door? Thanks, AG Falco
  15. 2016 1.2 TSI Petrol has R134A 475 g +/- 15 g with normal AC on sticker under bonnet. Thanks,AG Falco
  16. Tend to have more silica in them to reduce the rolling resistance. They can last longer as well. The older Ecocontact EP and CP also worked very well during the winter. These were around 20 years ago. Don't forget they also do this size in different speed ratings, different weight ratings, in runflat type and some are manufacture approved as well. MO, AO AR and BMW *. Conti don't import in to the UK every tyre they make. Thanks, AG Falco
  17. Did they make Conti Sport Contact 5's in 2013 when you bought the car, or was it 3's back then? In which case you probably have a newer / better version than originally supplied. We send about 100 tyres a month back. Thanks, AG Falco
  18. A lot of tyres are in short supply at the minute. Along with Tyre Manufactures having too many types of tread patterns in a size. Continental will make over 30 different tread patterns in a common size. Most Tyre manufactures are trying to reduce the number though. Thanks, AG Falco
  19. Some people want exactly the same tyres that the car came with / exactly the same tyres all round. In certain cases having the correct size but not the correct manufacture marking can do damage to the car. We had one car where we advised them NOT to fit the tyres they had ordered. This caused a £5000.00 repair to be needed on the car. This is not the case with your car. Thanks, AG Falco
  20. Yes size is right size but MO marked tyres are not OE for a Skoda. If the MO tyres are good enough for a MB then they are good enough for a Skoda. Thanks, AG Falco
  21. No. Thanks, AG Falco
  22. I was trying to correct the above quote . My bad. 49 profile? Thanks, AG Falco
  23. No. They would/could have come with 225 40 18 Continental tyres. But I doubt the car came with MO marked tyres from new. ( MO means they are Mercedes Original approved tyres ) I have never seen this. More likely the MO tyres were fitted at a later time/date. Thanks, AG Falco
  24. For good braking the tyre needs continuous band/bands of rubber tread all around the circumference. Tyres that are winter, TPMSS marked, All Season or M + S marked will not have this. Look here for more information:- Thanks, AG Falco
  25. The Conti's are OE for a Mercedes Benz ( MO ) ? Thanks, AG Falco
