  1. Had the car 10 Years from new and the car is now at 97500 miles. 10th Service and Seventh MOT done last year ( 2025 ) with nothing to report. 11th Service and Eighth Mot done last week (2026 ) with nothing to report. Still only had one MOT advisory in its life. Car is still on original brakes all round, original clutch, & battery. Apart from normal servicing it has wanted: - Lower front suspension arm rear bushes. ( the MOT advisory ) Passenger front electric window fuse! A look at / fix the AC recirculation flap motor housing. Lower front grill, that was both chewed by a rodent and head butted by a pheasant. Inner wing O-S-F plastic cover for access to headlight bulb that went AWOL. 3 AC re gas refills. Tyres, which do about 30K miles on the front. Some headlight bulbs. H7 Osram Nightbreaker's. Wipers front and rear. Engine consumes no oil between services and can still do above 60MPG on a good tank. Still like and plan to keep the car. Thanks. AG Falco
  2. Turn the steering wheel full lock, so that the TRE is outside the wheel arch. Use a long spanner and gently tap the other end with a mallet. HTH. Thanks. AG Falco
  3. Part was made in Spain! HTH. Thanks. AG Falco
  4. Did mine today. First clue for me was the 'Clack, Clack, Clack' when going from recycle to fresh. The two screws on mine were both a 15 Torx and 5.5mm AF head in one. Would agree with @cliveb on removing the wire connectors on the glove box. I have OBDeleven so I can/have reset the Air bag light. And also cut the cable tie so that the motor assembly can be pulled down to undo the wire connector. I then pulled the assembly out. It looks like the same problem as @lewiswal47 and others have had. The Black cog has moved and opened the motor housing case apart. Also note that the red gear has gone past the stop point. My solution was to regrease, reassemble and then Cable Tie the housing back together. It is in the bottom right in the photo above where it pops apart. So made sure the cable tie was around the housing at this place. Now reassembled and all working with no 'Clack, Clacking' any more. Thanks. AG Falco
  5. There is a low pressure side which most AC machines will check that it holds a vacumn. If it passes this test it will let you re-gas the car. This normally won't test the high pressure side of the system. So the machine will let you refill the AC gas without checking the high pressure side. A good clue that you have a leak is to see how much gas came out. The AC machine should record this. If there was no/very little gas in the system then unless it has not been checked for many years, get it checked for a leak in the hight pressure side as well. HTH. Thanks. AG Falco
  6. Most new TPMS sensors have replaceable valve stems. So no need for a new sensor, so long as the garage has one. There are over 40 different types! 😯 Thanks. AG Falco
  7. Just Tag him, thus : - @pab567 Thanks. AG Falco
  8. Has the battery been coded to the car? Thanks. AG Falco
  9. Be warned, on the earth connection the silver nut is painted. You need to make sure you connect to the cable connector inside the nut. I learned this the hard way. ☹️ Thanks. AG Falco
  10. Quite often the washer pipe breaks inside the black rubber sheath between the hatch and the bodywork. Open the hatch and it is in the top left hand corner. You want to pull the sheath back and look inside. HTH Thanks. AG Falco
  11. You don't need any app to do the service reset: - Thanks. AG Falco
  12. PM sent. Thanks. AG Falco
  13. Which part, upper or lower? Do you have a photo? Thanks AG Falco.
  14. I can look up some service history. Just PM me with the Reg/ VIN. PM sent. Thanks. AG Falco
  15. What is 5.0? The thrust angle is at only 10' minutes & total toe at 5.4mm. There is NO red showing on the part of the alignment report in your photo? Has this been fixed? Have you seen the bent part of the axle? Thanks. AG Falco
  16. Has this been fixed? Do you have a print out of the alignment with the figures on them? Have you seen the bent part of the axle? Thanks. AG Falco
  17. Try only to engage 1st gear when you have come to a complete stop. I can quite easily drive off from stationary in second gear. So low speed in second gear is fine. And have you also stopped by now? Thanks. AG Falco
  18. Any change in noise when the clutch in or out? Is it engine revs related? Does it happen in every gear at the same revs? Has the car been scanned for faults? Have you got Falken AS210's all round? Thanks. AG Falco
  19. Not on the petrol ones. So when you accelerate only? Where did the tyres get fitted to on the car? Thanks. AG Falco
  20. Bought the Citigo for the Daughter. Taught her to drive in it, and she passed the driving test in a month. 😀 Had it 4 1/2 years now. Also bought an UP in 2023. ( they had stopped making the Citigo by then ) Plan to keep both. Yes, as above they are in a low insurance group, 1-2. But still not that cheap to insure once they have passed their driving test. Try some dummy insurance quotes. Thanks. AG Falco
  21. That was my thought, as it happened back in February. But the car lives in an insulated garage during the night. Never seen even 0 degrees C in the garage. Might have been on the way home after work. Thanks again Pete. AG Falco
  22. Yes, that time again. MOT done on Thursday, passed with no advisories. Now only up to 53491 miles. Re-gased the Aircon on Friday. R1234YF gas, 168gms out and refilled with 330gms. So lost about half the gas in four years. Today, Saturday I did the 8th big service. Oil, oil, air and cabin filters, and spark plugs all done. Rotated the tyres and did a brake fluid change. Battery still working. Scanned for faults. none found. Updated ERWIN service record. Daughter still happy with the car. Thanks. AG Falco
  23. Problem solved. There are 6 wires on the motor connector. See photo above. Two small wires from one door switch, and the second two small wires from the other door switch. These power a relay to then power the window. This is the click I could here. The two thicker wires power the motor itself. I checked the wires in the passenger A pillar rubber bellows, and these looked OK. I then unclipped the block connector from the car end of the rubber bellows. I then checked continuity of the two thicker motor power wires from the block connector the the motor connector and these were OK. I then removed the drivers inner door trim and tried the passenger motor on the drivers side. Both motors worked on the drivers side but neither worked on the passenger side. It is as if there is no power getting to the motor. 🤨 I then did what I should have done first. Check the fuse. ☹️ Guess what. ☹️ All good now I changed the fuse, but I don't know what made the fuse blow. There is one fuse that covers both motors and also two more for each individual door motor. So check all three fuses first. Thanks. AG Falco
  24. Get the battery tested then. Also then get the car scanned for faults after. Thanks. AG Falco
