  1. This looks like my elm327 but i am looking for a micro one with an on and off switch as this one is a bit big in the footwell and i dont like plugging it in and out all the time. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/132084606772?lpid=122&chn=ps&adgroupid=40208335658&rlsatarget=pla-277438309573&adtype=pla&poi=&googleloc=1007077&device=t&campaignid=738217568&crdt=0&ul_ref=http%3A%2F%2Frover.ebay.com%2Frover%2F1%2F710-134428-41853-0%2F2%3Fmtid%3D1673%26kwid%3D1%26crlp%3D172723032140_563391%26itemid%3D132084606772%26targetid%3D277438309573%26device%3Dt%26mpre%3Dhttp%253a%252f%252fwww.ebay.co.uk%252fitm%252flike%252f132084606772%253flpid%253d122%2526chn%253Dps%26adtype%3Dpla%26googleloc%3D1007077%26poi%3D%26campaignid%3D738217568%26adgroupid%3D40208335658%26rlsatarget%3Dpla-277438309573%26gclid%3DCM3YsID6g9ICFeyT7Qodyn8B7Q%26srcrot%3D710-134428-41853-0%26rvr_id%3D1165844772624 the app is called vag dpf its on the android play store you can use the free version or buy the full version. I have not seen the soot level drop on a run i did a run up the m6 on monday between 70/80 for an hour and it never dropped but did not go up as quick as town driving. Only ever seen soot get lower when the ecu starts a regen at around 24g i have only stopped the car once during a regen which was after driving the car from the dealers as i did not know it was doing a regen. Now if its doing one i just run it down the motorway a regen seems to take between 15/20 minutes to get the level down to 4/5g
  2. Got my 64 plate vrs tdi in november with near 14k miles on it and have been monitoring regens with vag dpf. At the moment i am only doing short trips say 10miles each way and a good blast once a week up the m6 for an hour. I have noticed it never regens on the motorway and if i dont do a motorway run to get the miles up it regens around 150 mile mark. The soot level has never dropped during motorway runs as the temp only ever gets to around 200c if you are lucky and when its doing a regen its near 700c. It regens at about 24g of soot then finishes around 4/5g.
  3. I have the same wheels my key was in the boot with the plastic tweezers and a pump and goo for punctures. If you can get to the dealers before your tyre appointment they will have a spare to fit. I had to take mine back as someone had overtighten one nut and the key thats made of very soft ally chewed up they just took the car round the back and found one that fitted.
  4. Fitting instructions and manual are here may give you a clue where and what to look for. http://skodadop.com/en/octavia-iii-/interer-octavia-iii/smartgate-octavia-iii.html
  5. Do a search on here from what i have read you cannot swap them because of component protection and only a dealer can turn component protection off. I could be wrong so do a search.

  7. I sprayed mine with some high temp silver spray but have noticed the disks rust up very quickly 2 pics i took the other morning showing how the disks had started rusting overnight.
  8. Did Skoda fix the water collecting in the front door sill under warranty? when its been raining and i open the front door it all rushes out and i have a year left on my warranty.
  9. That's who I got mine from also got the rubber mat pack because I was sick of the kids trampling crap into my carpet mats. They are quick to deliver and easy to fit. Mike
  10. I know a few members on here have the ddpai m6+ have you had any problems viewing the footage on a pc direct from the card? I have tried registration viewer and it skips chunks of footage and messes the gps up. And dashcam viewer plays the footage but no gps data.Got mine from ddpai last year when techmoan reviewed it had it in my motorhome but now fitted a new mount and hardwired it in the car. I have always had gps problems but they seem worse in the car not sure if its a cam problem or viewer issue.

  14. If you know the vin number you can put the my skoda app on your phone and set it up with the vin you can then see the service hstory if its been done by skoda dealer.
  15. Got my car Nov16 as an approved dealer car and put the my skoda app on my phone it shows the pdi inspection and first service in 2015 but no service data for Nov16 when i bought it with 13k miles on. So I emailed skoda uk they replied with the service info for when it was serviced when i bought it. They could do with having a service portal online so you can keep track of it all.
  16. Looking at the part number it is a dpf pressure sensor https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=03l+906+051b&espv=2&biw=1280&bih=694&source=lnms&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiG4_yty57RAhWHtRoKHfkvCdoQ_AUIBygA&dpr=1 Mike
  17. Beat me to it i fitted a full set the other week to mine you need to drill a hole in the plastic liner and the flap is held on with a plastic bung think the instructions say 7mm hole but i used a 6mm as someone on here suggests it makes it nice and tight. No need to remove the wheel just get it on full lock to drill the hole. Mike
  18. Is this to make the alarm chirp when locking and unlocking on the mk3? If it is you can do it in the infotainment system. Mike
  19. When looking for mine I noticed a hell of a lot of 1-2 year old vrs's with really low mileage I even said to the dealer do people not keep them very long picked mine up with just under 14k miles on it registered Jan 2015. Mike
  20. My 225/35/19 p zero's had 20psi in them when i picked it up from skoda as an approved car(so much for it being inspected) so i put 39psi in all as the filler cap specs. Mike
  21. Got my vrs from lightclifffe 4 weeks ago no problems with the purchase and part ex all ok. Took the car back yesterday as one of the locking wheel nuts had been over tightened and the chocolate key would not get it off. All the mechanics were on dinner but reception said they would try and fit me in took them an hour to get the bolt out as it had been over tightened gave me a new bolt and key. Can't complain as i had not rang them i just turned up. Mike
  22. Picked my first skoda up 4 weeks ago and loving it 2015 octavia vrs tdi with black pack, canton and black 19" extreme's. Just fitted the rubber mats and mudflaps to try and stop the kids and roads crapping it up. And hard wired my dash cam.
