  1. Me as well cause our lpg installer was so knowledgeable he even said that the felly has hydraulic valves (self adjusting) he cant tune lpg for **** Wideband retrofit install I reckon the easiest way to tune Knowing something is more dangerous than knowing nothing. You could try online retailers for example autodoc obviously it doesn't make financial sense for just a thermostat and thermo switch but it surely makes sense for a fair amount of spare parts and you will save the most buying on Monday
  2. Yes after you remove the housing let water flow from the head downwards So you have removed the thermostat housing and you have the upper rad hose free. One time feed water into the head so water will flow out of the upper rad hose the other time feed water to the upper rad hose so water flows out of the head All steps cold and off only step 8 is more effective with a slightly warm engine right after turning it off (before all the solids sink)
  3. Skoda gearboxes handle 100-140nm as long as you don't launch it don't worry. The alfasud develops 135nm so you are all good
  4. dont use any acid, Step 1 remove upper rad hose from engine side, Step 2 remove thermostat housing Step 3 get garden hose and stick it in there open it and let the water run Step 4 go back and forth one time stick it on the engine the other on the rad hose Step 5 to clean the block remove lower rad hose and flush it from top to bottom Step 6 to clean rad flush it from bottom to top Step 7 close the cooling system add distilled water and drive the car for a day or two, Step 8 drain it Step 9 repeat step 7+8 until water becomes clear. Step 10 drain distilled water and fill with pre-mixed antifreeze (70% 30%)
  5. I have stripped the wires and use spade connectors and that way I have a plethora of temperatures to choose from
  6. Usally white(r) bulbs dont go very well along with halogens that mening you need wayyy more lumens to overpower a halogen i.e.(on the street) but with absolute darkness, well thats another story
  7. Yeah I made it a bit more English sounding
  8. Sergio gabour has the most complete series. I think it's possible to estimate Lφ as lux=lumen/m^2 Maybe bring the headlight point blank to a wall and measure the light output in lux which will be pretty constant. Then measure the lit up area perform the inverse calculation and you should have your answer. Obviously you should have a comparison sample
  9. They do actually at least here in Greece
  10. Well you can use your phone lux meter or a dedicated one, but in any case you should have the reference data from when it was new and tested in the same conditions. In order to really measure luminous flux you need an integrating sphere but thats expensive and hard to come by
  11. No you are knowledgeable enough thats what I said xd. Most likely should have added than me in the end
  12. Get a weber downdraft and you wiil be all set. On a serious note there many more knowledgeable people in here for carb aspects
  13. perfect and carb sounds very good perfect temperature is where it should be given that rad fan switch 3rd carb needs cleaning and maybe some diaphragms (just refresh it)
  14. Haha well i got confused when you said about on key working the other not
  15. Thats way too high for 4th gear full throttle, but it has me wondering fav based vehicles will tent to run hotter either at high loads scenarios even if at high speed or at high load low rpm. In that sense 80kmh in 4th and full throttle means that the hill has propably really steep and car was around 3200 rpm It's not because the fan opening is half the area of the shroud the air can easily exit In a previous topic me and @Papez concluded that fellys and favs dont need extra oil pan cooling No thats almost never the case in production cars, momentary full throttle maybe but constant maximum load maximum rpm situations will overheat the car and if not the coolant the oil is going to have an issue. All the above lead to me down to 2 roads, First, constriction of the cooling system somewhere (debries, not properly opening thermostat) Second, car running very lean with lpg (have you measured exhaust temperatures)
  16. you mean trying to raise the car by moving the strut up the wishbone thats a how to die 101 moment
