I had a talk with Skoda dealer today and they said that they have the digital record of servicing of this car back in 2018 when it was with 20k. then I bought it in November 2019 and CarShop did full servicing with 26k. I don't mind to do servicing again. Transcity skoda gave me a quote of £425 for full servicing (Oil, oil filter, airfilter, spark plugs and cabin filter if needed). I am guessing if i just buy the servicing materials from main dealer and have the servicing from my local garage in front of my eyes that will come way more cheaper. does anyone know the oil specification for this car? P.S: does anyone know if I need to be worried about gear oil changing for this car. Someone said that this car has no option of gear oil changing. I forgot who was it.

I have driven more than 10k miles since I bought it and its been around 10 months now. I checked my Service in the infoteinment system and surprisingly it says Inspection in 9400 mi or 304 days Oil change service in 8100 mi or 304days.

I bought it at its 26493k miles November 2019. Now Its been 37k, reached just today. I don't have service book to check the service interval. they said they all are digitally recorded in SKODA website. Would somebody with SIMILAR CAR tell me whats the service interval for this car and also recommend me the service parts, like what is the best engine oil and specification for this car? Do I need to conside changing the brake fluid as it wasn't been changed yet (i belive) and also whatabout gearbox oil? Someone said me that this car doesn't require gearbox oil changed. by the way, car is octavia 1.4tsi 150bhp, 67plate. thank you.

I bought this car few days ago..car had it's service which was just the Oil, Oil filter and also Air filter change by the company who acquired it. they didnt change Diesel filter and cabin filter. So I have decided to change them myself which i did. I bought UFI 2603800 Fuel Filte from eurocarparts and today when i was driving i realise that it was consuming 3time highrer than normal. did i do anything wrong. I have just seen the video and found it easy to do it myself. did i miss anything!
