  1. Just tried. Over £200 more than my renewal price with current provider
  2. Other than chris knott or Adrian flux?
  3. And here is the link for that genuine part: http://www.skodaparts.com/product/superb-rubber-boot-mat-2008-2011-21305
  4. This thread should help you. https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/364733-superb-estate-mk-ii-boot-liner-standard-boot/ The correct part number is DCD800001 Apparently listed for saloon but fits estate.
  5. There are two versions, you have the one meant for the cars with the rails either side. I also have the wrong one in mine! ( no rails, gaps either side).
  6. Great job! I recently did this job on mine, its really not that bad at all once you get the door card off and just really take your time. Although its definitely a job I think I could do again in half the time now I've done it once!
  7. All cleared, the two ignition raleted ones return instantly. They are just permanently there, not intermittent. Also, I've noticed the radio isn't switching off when removing the key
  8. Getting a strange issue on our 1.2 yeti... Sometimes turn the key and nothing happens, or there's a short delay and the engine fires as normal. I've pulled up these fault codes,; The Ignition switch has been changed and wiring checked... no obvious damage. Faults still come back. The intervention load management fault is more intermittent.
  9. Same issue. I just pulled them off, cleared off the old adhesive from inside the seal, cleaned the mating surface of the wheel arch (front and back) and used a good bead of gutter sealant i had spare in the 'hollow' of the seal. Simply pushed back on firmly, which sends the bead of sealant up the inner and outer edge of the arch lip. They should have been done at factory like this, the adhesive on the oem part is rubbish. They will certainly not be coming off again! A good cheap (free) fix. I wouldn't personally bother replacing the parts, they will just come loose again. Save your £40+ and just clean up and refit the originals with some good adhesive sealant.
  10. Tayna batteries do an Exide 096 AGM battery for our cars for just shy of £100 delivered. Coded in myself using vcds. Be sure not to get ripped off.
  11. This is very interesting, and has cleared up a few doubts i had in my head about a new battery I have installed and coded. Thanks.
  12. I bought these after quite a bit of research. 10/10.
  13. The fast idle is to get the engine warmed up as quickly as possible in colder weather. Totally normal. Our 1.6 diesel and 1.2 tsi both do it. Its for planet saving reasons.
  14. @McGee01 can't help I'm afraid, but its a job I may attempt at some point myself. Do share any info you come across Whats the plug and play amp you've got?
  15. What a thread revival. Giggled a few times at some of the defensive comments from earlier on which would have otherwise been lost in the ether... Also, I have a pal with a Yeti face-lift who runs 19's. Agreed, they look fantastic!
  16. me too buddy, this whole thread has been a chuckle though
  17. They look better, but obviously we all have our preferences. We have genuine VAG units (not just the bulb, but the whole assemblies) fitted to ours, they look great and have decent dispersion. Aftermarket bulbs can look a bit naff... just overly bright white dots.
  18. License plate bulbs can be coded to accept LED using VCDS (have done it to my Superb and Yeti). Not sure on the rest. Certainly internal lights shouldn't bring up a warning.
  19. Hiya, What size is your current wheel and tyre combination and what pressure are you running them at? (My winter setup is 205 55 16 and it is lovely, even with a few more PSI in. To each their own, but its not generally recommended to mix winter and summer tyres. Best have a full set of either.
  20. The backplates are a joke. You can get aftermarket zinc coated backplates on autodoc... shame the steel ones with a light misting of satin black got signed off by skoda R&D.
  21. Agreed on the cup holder size. Rubbish! Mines a greenline so sits lower from factory (scroll up a few posts, its the blue one with 17" GT TDI wheels).
  22. That looks really smart, I love the wheels. 30mm lower will make all the difference, post some pics when it's done.
  23. 144k and literally not a hiccup. Nothing. Remapped too. Touching all the wood I can as I say this...
