It's weird, call me old fashioned or just old:P But i prefer the look of my fabia as it is with the standard suspension setup. Don't ask me why but the lowered ones (to me anyway) look a little odd:O

There are some nice shots their mate:thumbup: But they are wearing the wrong strip surely ? Looks like they picked up the Alfa one instead of the SKODA one :rofl:

Has there been any news about skoda replaceing SEAT in the BTCC next year ? Just wondering as i think the new octy would defo give the vauxhalls a run for the championship:)

Guys just after a quick answer here, I appreciate alot of you take great pride in cleaning and polishing your cars:) Is there a liquid polish "top" coat that i can put on that will give it a little more "shine" after washing,drying and applying polish:thumbup:

Ross, Thanks Yes i meant do they have seat belt pressure pads so when you sit in you have a seat belt warning light on the dash till you belt up so to speak:thumbup:

Does the Fabia vRS have seat belt pressure pads in the seats ?? If so i take it the warning lights in the dash would need turning on with vag-com

Sorry to slightly highjack your thread mate;) But are the vrs's pre-wired for the heated seats:) As a lot of the octy's had them so a swap of seats could be in order:)

I think you need to clean it every now and then with K&N cleaner, then re-oil it with the red dye oil. Well thats what i did on my motorcycles filter

Now i,m no mechanic but it sounds like it may be catalsyt/oxygen sensor related. I had similar problems a number of years ago with a ford orion and the catalytic converter had collapsed on the inside:(

Richard Would one of those mobile chips away type people be cheaper ? I have seen them in action and there work seems pretty damn good to me. Might be a option than going for the full bodyshop route:thumbup:

I currently have a set of firestone firehawks fitted:eek: All i can say is they are extremely hard and very noisey:( Still on the plus side they will probably last a fair time:rofl: When they have expired i will get meself the Kumos as i have had them on previous cars and cant fault em:thumbup:

Guys, not sure if this is a fault or not, but when i start the fabia vRS first thing and then alow it to idle for a couple of minutes i can hear a slight whistle coming from the engine area:O Is this a noise from the turbo,intercooler,waste gate ??? or is it something to be worried about ? Thanks in advance
